    Can't get the heelers in the uk anymore.about 15 year ago maybe or a collie x heeler .why that ? even a show bred one , would still make good guard dog , in fact its one breed i get if i wanted good guard , and it no to big in your house. lets face it, as long as dog barks it done its job, most scum would go to where there no noise . but i reckon you go in a house uninvited with a ACD standing waiting ready for you, you deff get bitten, and there tough dog with strong jaw, they make a mess or your leg or hand . that kelpie x collie bitch i had, would rip you to pieces deff

    nice pup kay, just as it all white pup, make sure its hearing 100% , my brother had ebt's and few white one can have this prob, and skin probs as well.     , even though i didn't know him , and he was a hunting/fishing man, it no age to die in your 50's and leaving a wife and 2 young daughters , even if you weren't in to hunting , . I remember when my old dad was being treated for benign Leukaemia , he just go for treatment for 1-2 hours then go, but he went to few times go to the kids wards where they got cancer , it used crack him up when he left the wards , cancer a terrible disease any age RIP Andy

    my wife always liked rough coated type dogs, and being honest when you speak to most people, who dont keep lurchers , or dont know a great deal about these type of dogs, 95 % will a lurcher rough coated racey type dog, and i did as a kid many moons ago lol . But to me a dog with one of the best coates of any breed is a lab , lab have brill coats, tough, handle any bad weather cold/wet, easy to clean , and comb . so when x back to a running dog bound to get some pups with very good coats .

    something like them, but a alot more full on temp, are them Russian black terriers .The pet shop owner by me , got attacked by one last year , by a warehouse the dog was a guard dog there, not sure what actually happened but the dog got her in the arm, loads of stitches and badly bruised . very dodgy these big buggers , if you was into big hairy thing that deff uses its teeth /size maybe the dog for you , dont know nothing about them but there very good guards .

    thats the main thing a dog with a good bark is more off putting to most people more then a bite bite is last resort really I always think of a dog as an early warning system aswell when I used to go out poaching and I've cut through a farm yard only to find I've awakened the farm collie and he's letting everybody know some bodies about a mate not far from me as got Boerboel bitch, and it about the same age, You are right they deff look the part , and so do a rottie , and gsd , but a full grown boerboel , really have that presence about them , even more so the males at 12st .But

    get a nice lurcher x lurcher dog pup from proven parents , the parents wont have all the traits of just straight collie x grey , so the pup be that more easy to bring up , yep nice dog pup above . will fit in with male spaniels as well .

    deff brill family dogs, they are a very loyal breed . Buck dam she got alot of E/Europe lines in her ped , she pure black 24in and strong bitch , she very good guard and great family dog , i reckon you think twice coming the yard if you didnt know her. The best watch/guard dogs are a well bred alsatian =gsd or well bred rottie , either breed will stop joe public , i think the gsd prob just bit better , as it handle the cold and wet better than the rottie , and the gad be alot more vocal, and deff need that, yu want a dog to let you know somebody about, well before they get on your p
