favourite type of working terrier and why?

fair point neil , i no digging man, but have been invited over the years to few digs, and it does seem the black terrier was 1st choice for the fox job, and the jack terrier was more for round the farms , old building etc for the rat job , but fair few were used on foxes, but most times it was as pat that was used . a terrier i liked but you dont seem to see to many of today, is the lakeland the old black/tan just a thought mate . -

got him in the above, on my front lawn, the run was by my wall, the run was easy to find , so thought give me old tunnel trap a go instead of my talpex scissor trap , i dont do to bad with either , get them norm 2-3 weeks .

Dan on here from the USA uses yote dogs, which are gen bred deerhound x grey , with drop of bulldog that go back years and years, these dogs kill 35 lb yotes , that are bigger and tougher than out 18 -20 lb fox. his dogs look prob more like the old irish wolfhound years gone by, think he said they go from 26in -31in 80- 100lb big fast strong dogs with good stamina . good temps , but very full on type dogs when hunting, i think if i wanted a big rough haired type dog , that was fit/healthy i look at this type dog, forget the show bred crap, they slow, no stamina and not

regards cancer , from what ive been told , the cancer gene is in every one, its just something in the way your body makes that cancer gene active, the lucky people dont activate it , the unlucky do and its just look of the draw in life . seeing my old man dying with stomach cancer , was prob the worst thing ive had to deal with, i had look after him for the last 6 months before he died, he had few health probs in his life, and he was 85 when he died , yeh say good age which is true .But me dad was always fit strong bloke even at 75, when he got cancer of the gut, he tried to eat

its strange how we all grow up, i was quite daft kid at school and when i left school got picked on prob more at work when i was 15-17 , by older lads who were 18 -19 year old , this went on few years , then when i it 21 -25 i changed got bigger and stronger , and deff doing karate and lifting weights made a massive difference to me , i knew i was quite strong for my size , and could deff punch , my weight , i got hell lot more confidence in my self , ive always kept the same easy going type nature , that will never change , but i always new i could hold my own with mo
