haha . on a Oz site i use , there used be a bloke on there who lived in S/A and used type of greyhound to hunt gazelle , jackel , and think he said rabbit and hares. the dogs were mid to large size , they looked decent dogs some rough and smooth , they looked bit like the stags there use in Oz what were called roo dogs .

yeh leave there nuts , all my males have had there's, never any probs with health , or over randy etc, in fact ive always thought the temp of most lurchers even ones with drop of bull in them, all can be bit on the sensitive side and the more the running dog in them worst still, they need that bit of fire in them to start with, just as normal type dog , no leave them with there nuts. . i tired it few times racing over the years, never done any good with lurchers, there were never really bothered lol . if it was a wild animal they were up for that, i tired my big dog few times , but he on -

wonder what they been eating regular to get to that size,? i know they take few deer , and kill dogs, they must get constant food chain to get that big, as they dont look like they struggling for food .

true , there are some good gsds about, but as said you have get working lines east europe ect, there bred for health, good hips/elbows , strong nerve , fast/ agile dogs, and very powerful dogs with strong jaws, not over big 70- 85 lb , dogs this size would wreak a man easy , to guard your property , and keep out druggies / scum they be spot on deff. my brother sent me text, of a gsd in america that had ripped up a burglar , blood every where , it done its job lol stopped the scum . dont need a feckin wolf in the breed, if you get the right and proper gsd in the 1st place, it

i know what you mean , i understand killing animals that attacking live stock, or if its for food, but some species of animals need protecting , as there numbers are very low , they need bigger gene pool to get healthier animals , and some of them mountain lions numbers are very low . ive hunted 30 odd years thats, all our uk wild mammals , but numbers are not over low, deer, fox, hares, and only rabbit numbers are getting lower , but the other animals there numbers are ok , if they weren't i wouldn't hunt them , i pack in and find another sport to do .

yeh great player , and he helped putting darts on the map. lot people would watch darts to see him just get beat lol, not many beat though , 60 no age to die, prob to many cigs / lager caught up with him in the end he will be missed in darts

thinking about it, i think your prob right mate, it in the gsd to start with , and making them even bigger type dog by adding bigger heavier breeds, you get more HD and ED that gsd suffer with . i went to day to see my vet , just end of the season mot on my both dogs, vet said Bryn was in good condition for his age he 11 in sep, the old prat could go another 2 -3 years lol . He said Buck was in good nick as well, he 6 in august . we were talking about gsd's in general , vet said that there are few good breeders out there that, try to breed dogs with low hip / elbow scores ,

true stiff, i know there kill more people , than any other animal out there . But it still comes to the fact , that to shoot one these beast's either on foot or from a vehicle , with the guns there have today to kill something as big as this , it still be at safe shot. all of the big 8 animals that killed out there, are not really wild animals , in the true sense of the word , ok it brings money in to the country, and the hunting of these animals prob stopped total extinction of the big 8 animals. got a mate who goes all over the world , the last 10-15 years he been on the tiger

true that, all the programs ive ever watched regards wolves , always try to keep away from man, they have natural fear of man, even in a pack. these dogs are what are popular in Russia as guard/working dogs , no wolf in these , from reading the link sounds like they got very good dog , healthy, good temps, what you need in a proper gsd or any working type dog. maybe when the alsatian /gsd was 1st created 100's years in germany they might have used a wolf, nobody really knows , but that gene would have died out years ago. ! fair point, ive done the same with lurchers , put £ 50 quid for the trip to pick pup up, but i still give few quid for the dog , my one dog cost £ 40 the other the same , and both been good workers . so i do the same for a stinker , £30-40 quid nothing for well bred and tested stock .

bloody hell mate , get in a kennel bad enough outside , carnt keep a eye on kids 24/7, plus dogs like there own space. ive had dogs in the house years ago, but as soon as i had my son 31 years ago, dogs went out side, and being honest it nice relaxing , no smells etc , wouldn't go back now , but we all different , i love me dogs but dont need them with me 24/7 .

i think from last performance Haye will loose again, he lost stamina/speed of old, got his power but for only so long , shame really 10 year ago he would have decked bellew in 4 - 5 rounds , the only way otherwise try to take him out mid round , but bellew will know this and fight and box accordingly . . yeh with different reff the Aj and Parker fight would have lot different fight, if a rematch , parker could win , if it does happen Aj might no get to fight Wilder , parker could , boxing can be funny old game lol .
