4- below last night , had the heat lamps on all week for dogs, went out 7 pm give them quick walk before i feed them , not to bad walking here Hereford , Buck was away about 10 mins, then showered he been chasing something the way he was panting . funny thing i was thinking to me self waiting for that big fecker to show , that how cold you get just standing about , was ok on the move, them people out side sleeping rough, got to near enough freeze just laying in it , they must get alot that die when its like this with these temperatures .

good write up , and nice lump of venison to sell or eat, the trousers haha like it, i am for ever ripping my trousers getting over fences, your not as agile at 65 to what i was 30 years ago, time catches up with everybody even old poachers like me lol .

bet the little wesite enjoyed it, great to see the little dogs having a go , as said on the post them patx whippets were brill at ratting like most terriers thats x to whippets are brill ratters .

spot on , ok if the dog give 100% with every run, and it fooked , and need to get its tongue back in , thats ok , a good honest dog would still try to run again next breath . there nothing worse when a dog picks its runs or its quarry , a dog that does that doing just what it wants it not working with you simple as that . ive had both types , and i know which one i respect the most, loose the respect for a dog , and it over really you and the dog will go separate ways in the end

looks great crack that , and nice little dogs. another great little lurcher for rats,rabbits, and prob pile in to a fox , would be a pat x whippet there was a vid going around with this type x ratting in the day , and they were great, real fast agile little dogs, and looked a nice x as well, i always thought something like one of these or 3/4 whippet x bull be nice little knock about lurcher for bit of fun , and nice size for in your house . but prob struggle to get a pat x whippet , dont think they get bred shame nice little dogs.!

think it was about 14 months ago , a couple had big dob where i go on my dog walk never seen it before , prob they were visiting somebody . well this big bloody thing was running around barking / growling at the other dogs on the walks, couple people had go at the dob owners , but the thick twats wouldn't put it on the lead . well it ran right at old Bryn , Bryn had little go back at it, but Buck who was far side of the edge seen this and came after the this Dob that was still running around, Buck ran right at it, and put his head over back of its head , both stopped then , the

raw mince chicken plus dry meal meal , mine do well on it, the dry meal will have better balanced diet than just meat. just watch dogs eating fresh grass , apart from it tastes nice , dogs know it does them good , mine do it all the while ,. get my raw mince chicken from T P M S same as what ken says ,= 100 lb bags £ 52 quid , plus i can get big beef bones from them as well , you pay for them but i dont mind as carnt always get bones of my local butchers . plus the amount of meat you feed, depends i think how much work you give your dogs , both my dogs will put weight on,

yep the welsh queer , england were crap 1st 1/2 , 2nd 1/2 a lot better started to take the game to the jocks, and he killed us off with them 2 decisions not given . i real down now my team wolves lost again , got 10 point cushion at the top , but think we got 10 games left hope we can still go up, starting to worry now , i fookin low tonight

the last bit deff mate, you want a dog that is durable , that can take few knocks , and to much speed in a dog can kill it, more so if it hot headed on quarry , my big dog Buck bit reckless with fair amount pace , he just started to use his head bit now,.lol

good point that both my 2 1xs have 4/8 greyhound = 1/2 in them , you deff get size from a greyhound , Bryn 25in , Buck 28in , but his dad razzmatazz was 29in 75 lb greyhound , people forget 1/2 Buck size comes from that never mind a gsd lol . But thinking about it , you still get a good dog from lurcher x lurcher , and do the same job, and prob touch smaller a 25in lurcher should tackle all quarry really, if it got the heart for it .

his Haye still fighting this year tony bellew , if so when its on? i think Haye will loose again , not cause Bellew any good but , because Have finished the tank empty , father time caught him up , the only way he win is to pace him self and out box him then knock him out like when he was younger and fitter , but that wont happen now ,

would you run her on a yote now she older, and would she have a go or just bark at it, Dan on here said a yote tough aimal , and norm run couple staghounds on them, just wonder if she ever seen any up close , as your out alot and bound to have seen a few. -

i was thinking the same mate , pen her up when your at work, and feed 1lb raw mince chicken every day and drop lamb etc in it that 6-8 hours rest and more meat she should put bit of weight on. another thing as well its in the breed to be on the hyper active side there always on the go , not like labs,lurchers, give her plenty of bones as well if you pen her up, they occupy her , -
i was done as child , the took to much off only got 7 1/2 in left now haha , had done as kid think i was having probs pissing that what me old mom always said , they reckon it cleaner ? my lad not been done he 31 , dont think he ever had any probs,!.

bloody shame that, i hate it when they die like that, it bad enough in the field getting hurt or killed , but took out by a car is terrible , but at least you got a dog to do a bit with this season ive had couple of nervey times with Buck running across the road, 1st was seen a munjak he went right after it and across the road , 2nd he seen a cat otherside road, and he went after it , fookin hell shouted but he goes deff he sees quarry or cats , so i am really trying keep a eye on him, this is the prob with lurcher they come on to a read that fast, other breeds maybe the car might

yeh its tail different to a ferret, longer and thicker , but maybe because of its colour (white) it could have ferret in it genes, in other words they crossed the mink to a ferret to get that colour, as mink in natural colour are dark, black,brown , dark red , but never white .? -
yeh, groves to win, as eubank got a good jaw, i know he knock few over, but as he been really tested ?

wouldn't do it anyway , why put the whippet bitch in a dangerous position , i think when this x is done it always the other way round, even if say 3/4 whippet x 1/4 grey , it the size of the pelvis thats counts to pass pups, little dog like whippet, going to be small down there , well thats what i think .!!
