    Anyone ever dug in old railway embankments with the weldmesh layers .Nightmare .Like Neil says ,plastic bags are bad too unless you have a knife handy as too is the bale wrapping and string .Bloody farmers .

    Theres a bank on some ground i do that holds a 5 holer that is pretty sprawling and now 20 ft deep but was once just a puppy spot .In the years ive known the place its had rsj's ,asbestos and block rubble on it as well as a decent capping of general farmyard waste topped off by at least 6 foot of blue clay .About 5 years back i took a lad out with his mate to this ground and unknown to me he went back with the mate to "dig" this spot .From what i gather the dog was picked up days later roaming when they realised the depth and left it ,scroats .

    Nice one mate .Its old bottle dumps round here from days gone by so never know whats there on way down .Sheets of corrugated iron ive found to be the worst for cutting dogs .You did well on your own mate

    Trouble is mate by taking a pup you have been part of the problem but i guess you didnt know .Flip side is she may be a first class bitch but is now too spent to show it .What did you pay out of interest ,will say it all .

    Bitches cycles can vary a lot from one bitch to another and lurchers are especially known for having odd seasons. I wish you'd come tell this bulldog bitch of mine she should come in season regularly every 6 or 12 months, would make my life a lot easier if I didn't have to guess when she was going to have her season Joe I'd get her checked out at the vet. If she isn't due in season or just had one any discharge from her vulva is a possible sign of infection, especially if there's a smell to it. Better to be safe than sorry Exactly mate ,better put than i did and yes get her checked

    Ffs ,bitches are either six monthly or yearly ,no matter the breed .Some real numties in the game .

    Some not all bitches will come in heat twice a year ,six monthly ,whilst others are yearly .Early starters are usually six monthlies but no guarrantee.

    Size is irrelevant if you are picking ,choosing earths i guess but the reverse is true if your dogs takes it all its stride .Why keep specials when one will do but then again im not out with hounds just working whats comes along .

    Mate of mine shot one out the air free hand with an airifle at night and a lurcher of mine took two one night as well as a mallard duck from a cut maize field that was waterlogged.If you keep the lamp on them ,they fly extremely far and high not getting blown like most birds .We used to bag loads out with the .22 but that phase has gone .Just starting seeing numbers here ,late though.On a 'cock shoot boxing day which im looking forward to.

    For historical purposes only ,the way to do it IMO was to pull skin forward towards body and place your thumb width as a guide as to what to leave on .No need for dips or cleaner as bitch kept them clean
