    Written of this before .We used to do a place years ago with the old boy that really got me into it .The farm was an island set in between roads that ran right around it ,We had to use the tradesmen entrance and let the lady of the house know where we were going .She is passed now and the farm sold to equestrian people .She was the most colourful women ive ever met ,from good breeding by her lifestyle and accent but boy she could swear .Her late husband was a colonel and the old boy had cut their garden for years hence the permission .We ferretted ,dug and lamped this place regular to the poin

    4.7 on the box through two layers of stone and shale then sand all the way.Experience teaches a man to start these digs at a reasonable size instead of having to chop a section down part way through.When a dogs in deep you just get on with it .They are not something to brag about as ive known shallow spots take as long but as to the quality of dog ,they need no introduction from me .Hats off to the dogs staying to be dug to i say .

    Block and beam is fine for garage floor ,weve not long done the same.Beams will be shortest span so no bounce .Building control will have no issue with the storage space and will advise on the support lintel over any opening go the storage area. Build the footings in 6 inch block therefore avoiding the need for pillars.Good luck.

    As soon as you mention double skin ,building control will be on it to the letter no matter the size .Far better to build what can add value and to avoid the added cost of tax just put off getting it signed off for the duration you live there .Temp buildings are only ever that and make poor dwellings tbh .

    I hear ya FD, BUT in your opinion is there not more than a few lines of good working terriers out there that IF needed the same result could be got by using as an outcross ?OR, are you like some other good breeders out there, who, when they needed an outcross were too proud to ask another terrierman so used a bull type as a shortcut whilst also not having to say they used such and such's dog ? Genuine question , with no harm meant but I know of well known breeders who've done such.     How old are they in that pic mate .ive not seen terriers that slender when mature but then again im used to bigger dogs .Look ideal for the job though .
