Trying sort out garage , among the miriad of rod bags found a nice cane Richard walker mk 4 carp rod in good nick and what are James or hardy cane rods not great nick . Probably keep them the walker for an heirloom and hang the smaller ones with some of the knackered hardy centre pins reels I found as a display thing...any experts on here....

Sounds great mate, I like to pre-book a bit , if I'd not booked restaurants and fishing in Cornwall last time we'd not have got anything at the time... I'm away later in the summer booked a car and planning a few city trips along with a fishing charter...

Gsp,s are more thought of as bird dogs, although there's always exceptions I guess. Gwps used as all rounders on continent and mix with most quarry, think the German test includes boar but I may be wrong.

Yep just a lump of chuck , I had visitors for lunch so lit it at 8am hoped to get oxtail failing that short ribs and try and do it in 5 hrs , anyway Delmonico was all that was available , I ran it about 275 so tad hotter . Not heard of feather blade is that off the ribeye? I'll be searching oxtail next smoke and then do a stew burnt end type thing maybe....

I did a successful Delmonico , like a quick brisket , had it with mash and tender stem. Was good no pics lol, used foil after two hours to speed it up , rested for 40 mins.
