Well, there's been a "Black Police Officers Association" for years; and I recently found out threre's a "Black Lawyers Association" !! Just try forming a "White" alternative to any of those, and you'll be up on a Racist Charge before you can squeal "Legal Aid" !! Cheers.

I've told this tale before, but it's relevant; A lad was up here from Brighton and had heard about lamping but had never done it and wanted to see what it was about. LDR and myself took him out, and it wasn't exactly our "permission" ! We got to a horse field and I said "is that an electric fence ?" LDR said it was, but it's never on. He got over it, the lad got over it, and one of the dogs even got caught up it it, but no problem. I thought, OK, it's off, put my hand on it and a shock ran down my arm, thru' my body to my feet, back up to my head, and litteraly blew my flat cap off !!! I think

That's a rather simplyfied version of the rules. The W.C.C. Rules were based on the N.C.C., (Greyhound), rules; and were virtualy identical apart from the "law"; which was 100 yards for Greyhounds, and 30 yards for Whippets. Also the "run-up" points were changed to reflect the shorter "law"; 3 points, (max), for a Greyhound, but only 1 1/2 for Whippets. Hares were rarely caught in Whippet coursing; and such experts as Douglas-Todd and Walsh, (who disagreed massively about Whippet coursing), agreed that the Whippet was, generaly , overmatched by a hare, even though Walsh was the Secretary of th

I think the Yanks kill Coyote's simply because they are a pest and kill stock and cost farmers money ! How much damage wolves do to stock, I don't know, and I don't think they are legal game in most states, but I'm sure one of our Colonial Cousins will let us know. I think I would definately run coyote with dogs, and Dan has invited me out there whenever I want to go, but I wouldn't feel the same about shooting wolves, and I'm sure they dont run them with dogs ! Not sure if you are being sarcastic here or not......... but if you are, your Scottish anyway, so your opinion to a English man means very little. Just do it gradually,feed it in the kennel to start with,and put it in after its been walked,so you know it's tired, . Some dogs adapt, others won't.! Dead right ! That's what I did with a deer/grey bitch that had spent the first 4 or 5 month in the house; just fed her with the other dogs in the kennell, and left her in there longer and longer during the day, then one night left her in ! No problem ! Cheers.

You'll get a dozen different answers to that question, so why not just try it ? As long as the kennel is warm, dry and draught free, the dog should soon settle. Cheers.
