    Why not ? There are some tremendous Grews around. There are some Non-Ped Whippets, ( Whippet/Greys), that are breaking track records on Greyhound tracks, so put to a decent Lurcher should produce some good pups ! Cheers.

    salukis have far more stamina than dh and if you got the right saluki and right dh I cant see how they wouldnt make handy animals ....but the main thing is finding the right blood and types imo OK, so adding Deerhound to the Saluki,what are you adding that the Saluki hasn't already got ? Coat, obviously, and possibly nose. As I said, they may make decent dogs, but any better than the base breeds ? Sal/Grey x Deer/Grey is a different thing; I've seen some very good dogs from this cross; but a straight Saluki/Deerhound; I'd give that a miss, personaly. Cheers.

    I could be wrong; but I've always thought that feeding working dogs on "complete" food is a lazy way of feeding dogs ! What's wrong with sourcing good raw meat and bones, keeping a few chickens for eggs, getting brown bread from bakers waste, etc, and making up your own feed ? To be honest, I use "complete" as a biscuit, and mix it with the raw and eggs, and veg, bread, etc. It works out cheaper than using only "complete", and I'm sure it's better for the dogs. Cheers.

    By adding Deerhound or Saluki to a Greyhound you are hoping to add stamina, (amongst other things), to speed. By crossing a Saluki to a Deerhound, what would you be adding to either breed ? Don't get me wrong; they may turn out winners, but I can't realy see a Sal/Deer X being any better than a pure Saluki or Deerhound ! Cheers.

    Tomo, I worked for many years for Saudi Arabian Airlines; every year we would have a meeting with everyone from the top to the bottom of the corperate ladder attending. One year the Pakistan delegate objected to them being called "Paki's" ! The Director General, who was a Saudi said; " When the British complain about being called Brits, and the Americans complain about being called Yanks, then we will evaluate the situation !!", a very good reply from an Arab, I though ! But, of course, he was British educated !! LOL !! Cheers.

    Writing to your MP about this would only brand you as a "Racist" in thier eyes, ( remember Brown, and the old woman he called a "bigot ?) as MP's are mostly, in fact predominantly, governed by the "Guardinista" type lefty minority who speak out and get their opinion heard, whereas the majority of us go unheard ! It is a fact that the majority of "working class" people vote Labour; but have Conservative values ! Ask any Labour Voter about Immigration, EU, Defence spending, etc, and you will get the complete opposite view to that of the Parliamentry Labour Party !! If only we would open our eyes

    I'm not a fan of Collie X's, but that's just my opinion ! There are obviously some great Collie Types around and allways have been, after all, the laymans view of a Lurcher is a Collie X Greyhound ! I'd just say, make sure you get a pup from proven stock, from a genuine lad, (or lass !). Best of luck with what you get ! Cheers.
