I may have told this tale on here before. First time I applied for visas for Australia, my wife was accepted straight away, but I kept getting rejected , and it cost £26 each time . I asked my airline to get me a crew visa, it it also got rejected. So I phoned my son who was a diplomat at the British Consulate in Saudi at the time. He called his Australian counterpart in Dubai who rang me back. I explained the situation to him and he put me on hold. He then asked if I had a middle name, I said no, then he asked me to fax a copy of my passport with my photo. He called me back

Complete nonsense. You’re in denial. At a Labour manifesto meeting banning cage birds and greyhound racing was discussed but not implemented, I’ve never said we are going to run short of food , I said I was watching farmers tractors circling a food supply facility. It is widely reported in all media that we were down to one weeks gas supply and have had to pay 50 times the price to import gas from Holland to prevent blackouts you on the other hand told a blatant lie and when confronted with the indisputable evidence you DID say it , you won’t admit it. No sulks or grudges here, you said you couldn’t remember saying something that I quoted you as saying. I provided indisputable proof that you DID say it. Its as easy as that. As for taxing education I obviously see it very different to you. Both my children were privately educated as is my grandson and I’m nowhere near “extremely wealthy”. In fact I think it’s wrong that people who chose private education for their children are taxed TWICE. They pay tax to the public purse, of which a percentage goes to fund education. These people are not availing themselves of state education and prefer to pay for private education, shouldn’t the have a rebate on their taxes ? We have to have taxes, it’s how they are spent I object to. I remember when VAT was introduced at the behest of the EU. We were told “ don’t worry , it’s a tax on luxury goods, only millionaires buying Rolex watches and Rolls Royce’s will pay it ! That didn’t last long, did it ? Now you pay it on everyday purchases. You pay it on the tax you pay on your petrol ! How on earth can we pay tax on a tax ? Thr EU ordered us to pay 5% VAT on our gas and electric bills. We were promised it would be removed when we had Brexit, has it been ? Has it hell. And of course we all pay

I was reading dogs for sale notices in a vets window one time in Tokaroa, NZ, and there was an ad for government pest controllers. Exactly ! Crackdown on the fraud and loopholes; don’t raise taxes to an unacceptable limit and deter investment and expansion. As for the oil windfall tax of, I think it is 95%, but I could be wrong, a major oil company recently pulled out of the North Sea and invested in the Mexican gulf because it simply wasn’t profitable anymore. So, lost tax revenue, lost jobs . Cheers.
