    Reform

My opinions and views are just that mate; MY views and opinions I may be completely wrong , I hope not, for the sake of my country and my grandsons future. I just can’t see a viable alternative to Farage and Reform at the moment. It looks like we’ve got another 3-4 years of this disastrous Labour government, who knows , something more preferable to Reform may come along before then, but at the moment, it’s Reform for me. As always, I can respect others views without necessarily agreeing with them Cheers.

    Reform

I’m not sure about “Farage working for the wealthy” ? He wants to scrap “net zero” and subsidies for the green agenda, so electric and gas prices should come down. He wants to stop both legal and illegal immigration, saving the country billions of pounds, freeing up housing, nhs, etc, which would benefit the working man and woman. He wants to take back our fishing grounds, supporting British fishermen. He wants to scrap the farm inheritance tax, supporting British farmers. He wants to restart drilling for gas and oil in the North Sea, bringing well paid jobs to the wor

    Reform

A party can have the most seats but not an overall majority. They can then form a minority government or enter a coalition with another party , just as the Tory’s did with the LibDems some years back. There is also something called a “confidence and support agreement” where small party with enough seats can enter into an agreement to support a minority government without being offered or taking seats in that government. I think this happened with Theresa Mays government when she didn’t have an outright majority and I think it was the six DUP MP’s that agreed to support her, giving her an

    Reform

The Tory Party, probably since they got rid of Thatcher, hasn’t been a “real” right wing party. The “left” of the Tory’s have been pro net zero, pro legal immigration, pro ECHR and EU, just look at the likes of Anna Sourbry and Dominic Grieve, far closer to the LibDems philosophy than Tory philosophy. I think the Tory’s, at least most of them , that are defecting to Reform are genuine right wing, who have realised that the modern Tory party is a centre party, and see a home for their beliefs in Farage and Reform. Of course there will be “carpet baggers” who are defecting more out of

    Reform

Surely it was the Tory’s duty to use the new found freedom to control our borders and not allow the free for all ? Farage had absolutely no power then, the government of the day did but refused to use it. Nothing will convince you of that so there’s no point in continuing. Cheers.

    Reform

How could Farage negotiate the Dublin Agreement? He wasn’t even an MP, let alone in government . Yes, Johnson and the Tory’s made a complete mess of Brexit, but the Brexit we got wasn’t the one Farage wanted. You can hate him all you want, but he isn’t to blame for the Tory’s abysmal surrender deal with the EU. Cheers.
  16. Never got stuck once , on any terrain with either of these; Cheers.

    Reform

I think if Reform take power they will have an almighty battle on their hands with the Establishment, the Judiciary and the legacy media, but more so with the Civil Service who will do everything they can to obfuscate, obstruct, hinder and even ignore Ministerial instructions, just as they did with Brexit. Changing the “status quo” won’t be easy, but I’d rather vote for someone who will try than the present legacy parties. Cheers.

    Reform

Of course I could be wrong, but I’ve only heard Farage say he is 100% against digital ID. If he DID say that if the money had been spent implementing it , he would only use it for immigrants and not the general population, that seems pretty sensible to me. As for the status quo, no, I’m not for it, that’s why I will vote for Reform in the hope they will overturn the status quo. Wilf, I get that you think they are all the same, but you still don’t give me any viable alternative under the present system . ”Possible improvement is better than impossible perfection” , I don’t know w

    Reform

It’s a fact that the UK received far more immigrants from the EU than the Uk returned to the EU through the Dublin Agreement. After Brexit we became able to control our immigration, that we chose not to and Boris allowed massive waves of immigration is hardly Farages fault. He wasn’t in power. ”Farage boats” and “Farage flirted with the Hitler Youth” are just desperate attempts by Labour to smear him, but most aren’t falling for it. Will Reform be perfect ? Of course not. Will they be better than the legacy parties ? I can only hope so, but I can’t see them being worse. Che

    Reform

Haven’t some Labour councils been given permission to raise council tax by up to 20% ? Councils need huge overhaul, many of them, of all political persuasion’s ,are bankrupt or going bankrupt. Reform councils are having their finances scrutinised and things like DEI are being scrapped to save money. Cheers.

    Reform

I would vote for an independent that had the same police’s as myself if I couldn’t vote Reform. As for signing letters, almost three million of us have signed the petition not to have digital ID and Labour will take as much notice of that as they will of the letter you mention; none whatsoever ! Farage couldn’t be clearer, him and Reform are 100% against it. I look at things quite stoically, The Tories had 14 years and lied continually to us, Labour are destroying the country because of left wing ideology, the Lib Dem’s would completely ignore the biggest democratic vote in the hi

    Reform

Farage has said Reform are 100% against digital ID and would scrap it if implemented and Reform formed the next government. As for councillors, they are taking sitting Tory councillors and winning lots of council by-elections with Reform members. The aim is to take control of councils and implement Reform policies. Anderson was interviewed the other day and said they will accept only Tory’s that genuinely want Reform police’s and not Tory’s that are simply jumping ship to save their seats. I know you have grave reservations and scepticism of Reform, but I can’t see any othe
