    High grade steel needs high grade coal. The UK has that high grade coal in abundance, and the skills and infrastructure to manufacture high grade steel. We close the steel works, close the pits and ship in inferior grade steel made with inferior grade coal from china. Their mills and mines are more polluting and less safe than ours, plus the carbon footprint of the transporting of the steel means by closing our steel mills and coal mines, we are adding to the global problem, not solving it ! Go figure, as the yanks say. ? Cheers.

    Why is a woman who can't even put her shoes on the right feet given airtime ? She says deportations are "racist", but well over 50 percent of deportee's are white and deported to European countries !     I remember when it was called "global warming", but some people pointed out the advantages, such as temperate countries being able to grow two crops a year rather than one, Then the name was quietly dropped and it became "climate change". Climate change is nothing new, there's been ice ages and global warming long before humans walked the earth, the Sahara was aforested, the Arabian desert was also forested, then flooded, Now its desert, hence the oil !     The names are confusing; I think they are more "dog" than "wolf, but "Cape Hunting Dog" gives the impression they are a breed of domesticated hunting dog, and "African Wild Dog" is a bit all encompassing as there is also the pariah dogs and feral dogs. I was told that some are trying to get "Painted Wolf" as the official name, as it sounds more "exotic" and acceptable, than the other names, but who knows ? Cheers.

    We used to fly loads of animals from Southern Africa to the Middle East for zoos and private collectors, and this included African wild dogs, which some are trying to rename as "painted wolves". I enjoyed talking to the handlers/keepers, and they told me African wild dogs are impossible to tame or domesticate, even if they were hand reared from birth. Theyve been around for millennia, so seems strange they've never been domesticated, whilst other canines have. Cheers.

    Where are the people who live in high rise flats going to charge their cars ? What happens when everyone gets home from work and plugs their car in around the same time, will the grid be able to handle it ? If they really do ban the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles in less than 9 years time, the price of second hand cars is going to go through the roof ! Badly thought out by the government.     Can I just ask the lads that believe all this, what are they doing on line, on an open forum ? Surely they should be off grid ? Im not saying they are entirely wrong, but aren't they playing into the hands of the people they are warning us about ? We all know there's no such thing as a "secure forum" , so why are you guys inviting "them" to read and know everything about you ? Cheers.
