  1. Also, the ones I had, had no swivel between the lead and the collar, when the lead twists, it releases the clip. Cheers.
  2. Rubbish, mate. ive had two , both given, and the spring weakens and makes them a liability, opening when you don't want them to ? Cheers.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I see it the other way round, countries are looking at the petro yuan AFTER sanctions have been applied, or threatened, by the US. The Chinese yuan is probably the only currency in the world that has the possibility of challenging the US dollar, but I can't see it happening as most of the world is very, very, wary of communism and authoritarian governments. Just my view on it. Cheers.
  4. mC, I've noticed a few times you've eluded to what currencies oil is traded in. Can I ask why ? Now, I'm assuming you're not a Forex expert or commodities trader, and neither am I. I do understand, however, that the US is the biggest producer and exporter of oil, though it makes little difference to its GDP, and fluctuations in oil production has little effect on the worth of the US dollar, whereas the countries mainly dependent on oil sales can see their currencies fluctuate greatly in the rise and fall of oil production, so it makes sense for the likes of Saudi Arabia and Russia an
  5. I think no one has a problem with some one who has a bit of permission telling a poacher not to go back on. The contentious bit is some cowardly prick putting notes on vehicles threatening to burn it out ! If he was any sort of a bloke, he would have waited by the vehicle and had a word when Rew came back. I've seen these things escalate out of all control, I remember three keepers pulling a young lad for lamping, one of the keepers hit the kid in the face with one of those yellow lamps you buy at Halfords, breaking his nose and splitting his lips. Big mistake......the lad
  6. Rew......the Scarlet Pimpernel of the Dales ! ? ! "They seek him here, they seek him there, they seek Rew the Rabbiter everywhere " ! ??? ! Cheers.
  7. "Flappy arse" ???? Sums the reluctant arsonist up perfectly ! Cheers.
  8. Only a coward would torch a mans motor......a genuine bloke would wait at the motor and front up to the bloke when he returned. I can't believe I'm reading on here threats to torch another dog lads motor !!! Cheers.
  9. I don't know the ins and outs of this particular little spat, but here's my take on it; Poaching is fine, you take your chance, and if it comes on top, you do your best to get out of it. If you're caught, that's part of the risk and you don't moan about it ! If someone invites you onto their permission, and you boomerang back without their knowledge, well that's different, and a complete no-no in my book, in fact it's a snides trick. Cheers.
  10. Instead of issuing threats on here, why not have a word fist time you catch him on your permission, second time , offer him a straightener ? Cheers.
  11. I'm overjoyed this site has finally embraced diversity and tolerance! I mean, all that nonsense about killing animals with dogs is so non-woke. I wait with baited breath for the day Wilf and Greb declare themselves non- binary; Astanley announces he's a post op trans sexual, Neo admits he's a agent provocateur for the Tory government and mC gets a Beddy cross ! Cheers.
  12. I've seen radiotherapy and brachytherapy up close on more occasions than I'd wish on my worst enemy, but that doesn't make me an expert, far from it, I hope I never see it again ? Cheers.
  13. Wow ! The epidemiologists have now moved on to clinical oncology ! ??? ! Cheers.
  14. Even if you don't have wi-fi in your own house, you're still surrounded by it. When I look on my settings there's another four wi-fi's showing from neighbours! Its everywhere, hospitals, doctors, even Asda has free wi-fi ! Cheers.
  15. When Saddam occupied Kuwait and invaded Saudi Arabia and advanced to within sight of the Dhahran/Dammam oilfields, we, rightly, drove him back to Iraq. But the mistake was made in not pursuing him and finishing him off then. He was never going to give up his expansionist aims and dreams, so Bush and Blair, with the help of the "dodgy dossier" went back to finish the job that should have been done during the first Gulf War. An illegal war ? Yes, but it was allways going to happen. Cheers.
  16. I'm no terrorism expert, but there is overlap in the aims of most of these groups. To reduce it to basics, as I see it; The Taliban want an Islamic republic, based on Sharia law, only in their own country, Afghanistan. ISIS want an Islamic caliphate , based on Sharia law stretching across all Islamic countries from North Africa to Indonesia. Al Qaeda want nothing less than all democracies across the world replaced with Islam and Sharia. Cheers.
  17. See my above reply to Wilf . Cheers.
  18. The majority of those attacks were on resorts, hotels, embassies etc frequented by westerners, or on western military targets in those countries. Cheers,
  19. Al Qaeda don't only target the US and Europe. They have also committed bombing atrocities in; Tunisia. Morroco. Algeria. Saudi Arabia. Yemen Turkey. Kenya. Tanzania. Bali. Indonesia. Nigeria. Philipines. Amongst other countries. Of course the attrocities in the US and Europe get far more attention and air time, but Al Qaeda are a global terrorist organisation. Cheers.
  20. f**k me !! This ones got my PIN number on it ! Better change it sharpish, before the spooks empty my bank account ! ? ! Cheers.
  21. Probably better of bombing parts of Bradford, Leicester, Tower Hamlets, etc. Far easier, cheaper and probably do more good ? Cheers.
  22. Still on my bucket list is a trip on the Ghan Railway. Named after the Afghani camel herders that were shipped into Oz with the camels to open up the interior. Its about a five day trip from one end of Oz to the other, stopping off in places like Aires Rock and Alice Springs. Cheers.
  23. I haven't a clue how they are bred, but I shy away from the Saluki theory simply because I've been down there quite a few times, and hunted with many lads, mainly running dogs and terriers, and not one of them has had, or knows anyone who has working Salukis. This is strange to me, as the land and quarry are perfectly suited to the Saluki; an abundance of hares and land so big it makes the fens look like my allotment ! Cheers.
