  1. Yeah, but it was YOU in the Leotard...........there has to be limits for offending people's sensitivities! ? ! Cheers.
  2. Wasn't the Bedlington once known as "the mute Terrier" ? Not because it couldn't bark, but because when entered, it would go straight on the attack, not sit back and speak. Cheers.
  3. First time I was up for Trespass in Pusuit of Game or Coney, one of the three Magistrates was actually the Landowner of the land I'd been caught on !! First thing he did was lean over to the Clerk of the Court and ask what was the harshest penalty he could impose ! £60 , more than two weeks wages back then. Cheers.
  4. Is he banned ? Not according to his profile. Cheers.
  5. It's not allways about numbers. Not to long ago, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Cairngorms for a weekend, by Northernlite and Taysider. We had a fantastic time, but one naysayer mocked the fact we "only" caught 73 rabbits and ten white hares. But it wasn't about numbers, it was about the whole experience; catching quarry I had never even seen before, running on grounds I'd never done before, seeing golden eagles floating in the sky above our heads, sitting in front of a roaring fire in the shooting lodge enjoying the craic and a drink, seeing other types of dogs run.
  6. Saudi Arabia has strict, even draconian, rules concerning Covid, but will let me visit if I can prove I have had both vaccines. The problems start when I try to come home ! The UK government demands I have a test less than 72 hours before I board a plane back home, then it's ten days quarantine, with another test on day two of quarantine and ANOTHER test on day eight ! None of these PCR tests are available on the NHS, but cost around £130 each, privately ! Why do the Saudis think the vaccines work, yet the UK government doesn't, although they keep telling us they do ????
  7. Never really had huge bags of rabbits, I guess low 30's is about it with one dog, and to be honest, that's probably the exception rather than the rule. I remember, and get more pleasure, out of what I call " one fielders"; like when a Beddy type took ten rabbits and a hare from one field, or when a deer x took five hares from one field, on the lamp. Other things that give me great pleasure is when a young dog takes its first daytime roe buck, or when a nine year old bitch has its first run out of a motor on fallow, and pulls the first and only one it runs, without making a fool of it
  8. I've just been to the shop and I wore a mask for the simple reason there is a sign saying " No Mask....No Entry". It wasn't a hardship, and I wanted a few bottles of the gin they've got on special offer, to make sloe gin ! ? ! Pretending you are exempt is hardly " making a stand", is it ? Cheers.
  9. I just can't imagine Ken sitting in the lotus position, chanting "omm, omm, omm", with the scent of citronella swirling around ! Say it ain't so, Ken.....say it ain't so ! ? ! Cheers.
  10. "Be truthful lads on this one" ??? C'mon........ You're talking to lurcher lads ! It's built into our DNA to exaggerate !! Have you never been in a beer tent at a Lurcher Show ? ??? ! Cheers.
  11. The Honours Committee can block him, but Boris and the Tory's can't. It just depends on how many friends he has on the committee, or how many he has something on ! As I say, he will be elevated to the Lords.........but in my mind he should be elevated by his neck. Cheers.
  12. He'll get a peerage, for sure ! Labour will make sure of it, just to embarrass Boris and the Tory's. They blocked him last time, as he was a Tory MP when Corbyn put him forward, but now his joined Labour, the Tory's can't block it if Starmer puts him forward. The whole system is corrupt............. Cheers.
  13. As much as I like Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend, I have to ask; what the f**k do they know about epidemiology ? ? Cheers.
  14. I've had both jabs, so, supposedly, I'm protected, but I still wear a mask when I go into a shop. Its no hardship, saves any hassle with mask wearing customers, and doesn't put the staff in the unenviable position of possible confrontation. Refusing to wear a mask isn't the biggest problem, by far ! The travel ban affects my family and myself far, far more ! Cheers.

Isn't it just a paid internship for a year ? I'm supprised they are even paying a wage, they normally expect interns to work for free. Still not right though, jobs should be given to the best candidate, irrespective of race, colour or creed. Cheers.
  16. A good slipper wouldn't slip on a poor hare for the simple reason they were testing dog against dog, not dog against hare. You wanted the hare to test the dogs to their limit....not a quick kill. Cheers.
  17. Red stags ? Piece o' piss ! Me and Beddy Dave took this beast with ease with Bruce and Lima ! ? ! Thats a real photo.........honest ! ? ! Cheers.
  18. I recorded the last Waterloo Cup, including when that Saluki was slipped on a spent hare.......I don't think it impressed many of the 10,000 people there. No, I'm not saying that was your average Saluki, but it looked very below average ! Cheers.
  19. That's a lot of averages, on average, but would a below average Saluki be better than an above average saluki lurcher on average, or would it average itself out, on average ? ?? Cheers.
  20. Well, third time lucky ! The first two clutches I put under the Silky produced nothing but the third lot, one hatched this morning, 20 days since I put them under her. There's still three hen and two duck eggs to go, so fingers crossed ? Cheers.
  21. Here you go, this ones for you ? Cheers.
  22. There's one at home here; Yep, there is; I see him; Gotcha !!! A fun day out in Oz with the runners and terriers. Cheers.
  23. Its allways the daywalkers who f**k up the threads.........never those nice lampers ! ??? ! Cheers.
  24. Here you go, Tomo, you computer illiterate old sod ! ? ! Cheers.
