  1. Then accept my humble apologies for apparently taking your comment in the wrong way. Cheers.
  2. “A disservice to Newcastle” ? Do you always take the opposite and opposing view to everyone ? LOL ! You didn’t used to ! Im a Newcastle supporter and YES it was a stroll in the park for Newcastle, it could have been double figures ! My neighbour and ex Newcastle player, John Anderson, who was commenting on the game for BBC agrees with me that it was a stroll in the park. I’ve absolutely no illusions that it won’t be immeasurably harder in the next few games that include Man City and PSG. Cheers.
  3. Am I one of the two ? I honestly hope not, as I'd love to have a chat with you over a few Tennessee sipping whiskey's, a nectar I've had one or two of tonight as I've watched my football team (round ball) win 8-0, and Wales defeat our antipodean cousins at rugby (egg shaped ball). Its just what we call "craic", an Irish word meaning banter ! Cheers.
  4. I'd love to give a detailed reply, but it appears my young protege, mC , has been giving you English lessons ! LOL ! Dont take it so serious, mate, it's only a hunting site on't 'net ! Cheers.
  5. Well done Wales ! Australia a shadow of their former selves, but taking nothing away from Wales, a dominating performance ! Perhaps with the form of Wales, England, Ireland, France, the pendulum is swinging back to the Northern Hemisphere ? Cheers.
  6. We could allways go down the Presidential route and have an eighty year old with dementia embarrassing the country every time he speaks. On second thoughts.........maybe not ! Cheers.
  7. Quick start for the Taffs ! Cheers.
  8. I agree, if it's advertised as, and sold as, an xl bully, then they could be DNA tested and a data base built. Cheers.
  9. I once found a "hedgehog looking thing" in my back garden in Saudi Arabia. It didn't look like the hedgehogs I knew so after a bit of research it turned out to be a Madagasgan Tenrec. I can only assume, as I lived near the Red Sea port of Jeddah that it had arrived in a shipment and wandered off and arrived in my garden ! Cheers.
  10. A stroll in the park ! Next three games ; Man City league cup, Burnley Premier Leage, PSG Champions League ! Cheers.
  11. They were talking about ALL dogs, not just xl bully’s ! If there must be some legislation against owning these dogs, it’s already there, The Dangerous Dogs Act. Just add this “breed” to the list. People will say “ how do you know it’s an xl bully ?” Well, dna test the ones that are out there now and build a dna data base and take the dna of any dog suspected of being an xl bully……..don’t punish responsible dog owners ! Cheers.
  12. The consensus on TV this morning amongst pundits and politicians is licensing . That will only punish the vast majority of dog owners, the idiots won’t bother with a license anyway ! One bloke interviewed said all dog owners should undergo a two week compulsory dog training course ! The government will f**k it up as usual and the innocent will suffer. Cheers.
  13. Easy win for England, good game next, South Africa v Ireland. Cheers.
  14. You let your women DRIVE ????? Theyll be wanting the vote, go into bars, etc, next ! Is there no end to this madness ??? Cheers.
  15. Laugh in the sisters face, smack her on the arse and tell her to get you a beer and cook something up for dinner ! If she acts up, put one of those .22lr's back of her head ! Man up, for fucks sake Wolfy, don't let the THL Massive down ! Cheers.
  16. Do you live in the Sahara ? LOL ! Its pissed down for weeks here in the north east ! Cheers.

    GOUT

I've never heard of gout affecting the upper limbs, not saying it can't, just I've never heard of it. I think it was the ancient Greeks that called it "heavy blood" as it affected the lower extremities, mainly the big toes. Cheers.

    GOUT

I used to get a diclofenac injection when I had a serious attack and, as you say, an almost immediate effect on gout. That was when I lived abroad. My doctor here is loathe to prescribe dicllofenac, because of the damaging effect it can have on the stomach. Last time I had a major attack he came out to see me and it was so bad he prescribed a course of diclofenac and also pills to counteract the stomach damage that they might cause. It was this episode that lead to being put on annapurinol for life, and thankfully I haven’t had an attack since. Cheers.

    GOUT

I’m on allopurinol and if you follow the instructions about starting to take it, and make sure you take it EVERY day and don’t miss a day you’ll be fine. Ive never had any adverse reactions or recurrence and I used to suffer dreadfully with gout. And by the way, mine was/is hereditary, my brothers and dad all suffered from it . Cheers.
  20. I remember an American when I worked in the Middle East, deciding he was going to create a “chuff chart”; you know the sort of thing, a management “tree”, picture of the GM, then below that pictures of the manager, section managers, supervisors, etc. Anyhow, this was back in the 70’s and photography was frowned on, many Arabs believing a photo stole your soul, so that idea went down like a cup of cold sick ! So if they insist on having your photo taken, just tell them you’re an Arab and it would offend your religion, put in a claim for discrimination and that should have them backing
  21. I started with whippets, then had most types of running dogs and seen and worked a lot of different types around the world, but still suspect my last running dog may be a whippet, come the full circle ! Cheers.
  22. Yeah, all that’s in his pedigree; mainly Laguna and Shalfleet. I think it was Walsh who wasn’t too keen on whippets coursing, and once said something along the lines “a whippet coursing meet is usually decided with a bye , a run up and a gone away” ! He thought rabbits were a whippets natural quarry, and were mismatched against hares. Thats not to say whippets CAN’T take hares; they can, I’ve had a fair few with whippets myself. Cheers.
  23. Pedigree whippet born 1991. Supposed to be a working whippet, but I’ve no idea how good it was on hares; Whippet - The Breed Archive WHIPPET.BREEDARCHIVE.COM Black Lance x Gillscar Soft Whisper, United Kingdom 1991 Cheers.
  24. If you feel confident, snip off the loose bit, give it a thorough clean, keep it clean and let nature take its course until it's healed. If you're not confident, see a vet and be prepared to be ripped off ! Cheers.
  25. I watched it and am extremely happy with the result, but Milan were probably the better team, but didn’t take their chances. Newcastle were resolute in defending but never looked like scoring until the final minute of the game. Its a great start to the campaign, especially with PSG beating Dortmund. Im looking forward to the ride ! Remember, we were candidates for relegation two seasons ago, now we are going to the San Siro and getting a well deserved draw ! Cheers.
