  1. Chopsticks for the lumps, spoon for the gravy ! Cheers.
  2. Just along the military road from me, right on Hadrians wall. Hundreds of years old and some twat with a chainsaw decides to cut it down ! Cheers.
  3. Stay strong, grasshopper, stay strong…….. Namasay.
  4. The pampas fox isn’t a true fox, it’s related to the wolf and coyote, both of which can and do mate with dogs. A fox can’t mate with a dog. Seems just like more media nonsense. Cheers.
  5. It doesn’t matter if it’s only one plane load; would you hand over your life savings to a people smuggler if you though you might end up in an African shithole ? Cheers.
  6. Then why didnt she do it ? Theres was nothing to stop her, even when the ECHR said we couldn’t, there was precedent with the prisoners vote decision where we ignored the ECHR. It was only when the lefty lawyers started the court cases that it’s been put on hold. If that first plane had taken off it would have proven a massive deterrent. Believe me, even if the Supreme Court finds in favour of the government, it will be passed back to the ECHR who will veto it. Going round in circles until Labour get in and repeal the Rwanda law meaning it will never happen. Cheers.
  7. She won’t be getting my vote ! Shes in a position to do something about it, instead of just talking about it, but doesn’t ! The Rwanda policy was passed by the Houses of Parliament, but overturned by an anonymous European judge. She could have just said “ we note your concerns but Parliament is sovereign “ Just like we did with the vote for prisoners ! I keep saying it ; all empty rhetoric and no action ! Cheers.
  8. Perhaps if Labours Blair and Mandelson hadn’t thrown the borders open to “rub the rights noses in diversity “; or maybe if Labours Starmer didn’t oppose things like the Rwanda policy and everything else proposed to tackle illegal immigration we wouldn’t be in this position ? Of course, NONE of the major parties , Tory, Labour, LibDems, SNP, want to do anything about immigration, legal and illegal. Its only empty rhetoric, designed to fool the voters. As I said previously; a pox on ALL There houses ! Cheers.
  9. It used to be you could apply for asylum if you "feared persecution ". Now you can apply for asylum if you "fear discrimination". A subtle, but huge difference. Cheers.
  10. It was a dog, mate, not a bitch. Just my brother and I and the keeper. Cheers.
  11. Rolling back net zero, scrapping, at least some of, HS2, decrying multiculturalism and illegal immigration........all very laudable, but they've had 13 years to do something, so why now ? Could it be that they are 20 points behind Labour and a General Election is rapidly coming up ? All rhetoric, they'll do nothing about any of it and we will end up with aLabour government they will throw the borders open and take us back into the EU and freedom of movement ! A pox on both their houses......... Cheers.
  12. The keeper got a good hiding. My brother and I were charged with GBH and " Tresspass in pursuit of game or coney". A friend of my dads was a director of Newcastle United who also happened to be the RSPCA's lawyer and he defended us in court,( how ironic is that ?), he destroyed the keepers credibility and we were found not guilty of all charges. The keeper was charged with unlawfully killing a dog. He was found guilty and lost his guns, SGC, fined and banned from keeping dogs. So, yeah, a bit of Devine retribution, but I lost a very good dog. A chance you take every ti
  13. Bilko was a stud dog. I only had one that was double Bilko bred, A decent dual purpose dog, with a good temperament, could win a scratch race and catch a hare. Sadly shot dead whilst coursing. Cheers. Cheers.
  14. The breed as a whole ? Probably, but you get good and bad in all breeds. Cheers.
  15. Marretta, a Bilko bred, non-ped racing whippet from the mid 60's; This was back when they would strip every ounce of fat from a dog then build it back up with muscle. A top class bitch, who threw numerous Racing Champions. Cheers.
  16. They were all non-ped racing whippets, running in a straight line. They all had a very peculiar style of running, the back legs trying to overtake the front legs, almost running sideways! Mine didn't last long, too many injuries, mainly muscle and joints. Cheers.
  17. A bad thing. Owned one and seen a couple. Won a few match races with mine, the others weren't up to much, the one thing they all had in common was they suffered badly with cramps after a run. Cheers.
  18. Well, well, well, who would have thunk it…… Cheers.
  19. I think Brand is a shithouse and perfectly capable of being guilty of what he’s accused of, and I despise him and Ross for what they did to Andrew Sachs…….BUT , if the government wanted to give credence to Brand’s conspiracy theories, they are doing a great job !!!! Chairwoman of a Select Committee writing to internet platforms trying to stop Brands blogs making money. The Attorney General tell the media they could be “ in contempt of court” when Brand hasn’t been arrested or charged and no court case in progress ! If there is a credible case against him then arrest him, charge
  20. When I read the thread title, I thought you’d bought the lad a spade ! LOL ! Thats some man cave ! Excellent work ! Cheers.
  21. Then accept my humble apologies for apparently taking your comment in the wrong way. Cheers.
  22. “A disservice to Newcastle” ? Do you always take the opposite and opposing view to everyone ? LOL ! You didn’t used to ! Im a Newcastle supporter and YES it was a stroll in the park for Newcastle, it could have been double figures ! My neighbour and ex Newcastle player, John Anderson, who was commenting on the game for BBC agrees with me that it was a stroll in the park. I’ve absolutely no illusions that it won’t be immeasurably harder in the next few games that include Man City and PSG. Cheers.
  23. Am I one of the two ? I honestly hope not, as I'd love to have a chat with you over a few Tennessee sipping whiskey's, a nectar I've had one or two of tonight as I've watched my football team (round ball) win 8-0, and Wales defeat our antipodean cousins at rugby (egg shaped ball). Its just what we call "craic", an Irish word meaning banter ! Cheers.
  24. I'd love to give a detailed reply, but it appears my young protege, mC , has been giving you English lessons ! LOL ! Dont take it so serious, mate, it's only a hunting site on't 'net ! Cheers.
