  1. I've owned a fair few estates and 4x4's and forget about cheaply running any large 4x4, my navara costs £110 to fill and that lasts 400 miles, tyres are 100 each etc etc, also forget subarus as the fuel economy on them is bad, insurance for someone your age will be shocking and they are a "puller". Some of the best estates i've owned have been astra diesels, renault lagunas, both of these were reliable, i could get 3 dogs in the boot with space, the astra was a 1.7 diesel and did 55mpg and the laguna was a 2.0 petrol that managed 33mpg. Two of the best around are ford mondeos and focus. ...

Just wondered what sort of things you got upto as kids, we used to do knock a door run and also collect dog poo, wrap it in newspaper, light it and leave it on someones doorstep before ringing the bell and legging it.........cat crawling was also a favourite, this involved climbing fences and hedges at one end of the street to get the the other, all across back gardens.....'orrible little b*****ds we were

  22. As kids we used to go to Wollaton park near Nottingham every sunday, they have a herd of fallow, and a herd a red, over the years a few pet dogs have fancied their chances and paid the price, went two years ago just to photograph a few deer and as always took the dogs, needless to say the leads were well and truely on!!! We also have a local deer park woth reds and fallow, took the kids last week to see the deer, those red stags are more like a cow on steroids, ive seen hundreds of reds north of the border and they run with a decpetive gait, lokks like they are hardly moving but they cover th
