  1. Never tried it to be honest, my dogs have caught plenty of times out the beam but i wouldn't choose to do it
  2. I spent all my time as a kid mooching around the loacl ironworks, the place has a brook and fishing pond that provided a regular supply of rats, the hundreds of acres also had a healthy supply of rabbits and foxes used the pipes on a regular basis, nowdays there is a huge spiked fence around the perimeter to keep people out. Also the fields just on the outskirts of town had fields full of bramble and gorse which was a haven forfoxes and rabbits, now a housing estate has been built there....
  3. With Ray what you see is what you get, nice genuine chap....
  4. Stuffed full of nachos, chilli and garlic bread..

  5. Getting it sorted, oh yesss

  6. Obvious talent Mick, like the first one
  7. All boils down to budget mate, battery wise you get could a 17amp buggy battery for abour 50 quid, or spend a couple of hundred on a lithium. Lampwise the nightstalker range is good, their striker equivalent is cheaoer and in my opinion a superior lamp, i also have a blitz, and there are the dogs danglies..........
  8. Started off with the deben mark 1, good piece of equipment and mine lasted years, taping the collars up was a pain each time you went out, then got a mark 3 and to be honest, i thought it was bloody awfull. Now got a bellman and flint and they are mazing, but for a technophobe like me they took some getting used to, one thing i have found, and perhaps its a fault with mine but sometimes the box jumps erractically from a a range of 10 metres to 35 in a second, not sure if this has been caused by something in the ground or just my box...........
  9. Its all down to early stockbreaking most of the time, I used to have a couple of cats and so my dogs were steady around them. Nowdays i dont keep cats and was lazy about breaking my dogs to them so cats are veiwed as chaseable quarry, luckily enough they are on leads when they encounter them and i dont see them out in the fields, the only time i have i have been lucky in recalling them before sighted. As i said lazyness on my part as i dont want my dogs to kill cats.........

shroom your far from innocent, due to the actions of you and ducky a new rule of no profiteroles was introduced, also my poor dad came for a day out and that stumpy legged gerbil of yours took a dumpe on his new boots
  15. Now or before the ban there is no quarry an Irish Wolfhound would be capable of catching. The wolfhound of old is a TOTALLY different animal to the breed now, like most breeds in truth be told..........

Elvis Ming ffs  Dotty we all know he's tight enough to be initiated into the synagogue He had a face like a slapped arse last year at Selby when duckshit ate his profiteroles  First of all stabba isn't Jewish, as he flobs his 3" chubby out at every opportunity and there is no evidence of "tampering" Also shroom, ducky narrowly escaped a lynch mob last year, a couple of us had done a shared pack up and the highlight of the picnic was the profiteroles supplied by cheeky, highlight until they were devoured by ducky, who munched his way through them like Dawn French a

Every now and then i read posts and threads that either make me laugh, scratch my head or shock me. But here is a thread that disgusts me  My weekly trips to sit at the kitchen table, chew the fat, smoke roll ups, drink coffee, but most of all eat bacon sandwiches has become a habit, nah a routine!!! This week stabba and cheeky have had gas fitted to the house, now im a resonable man, i offered to bring my camping stove for cheeky to cook on, even for them to bring the bacon to my house and allow the use of my hob. I have done all this with the best of intentions and friendship, only
  20. Always used mine for a bit of bushing BUT i find its gives me more grey hair, spend all your time hoping they don't drop in or get too far out of control range.....
  21. I'm pining for the moon, and what if there were two, side by side in orbit, around the fairest sun. That bright, tight forever drum, could not describe nightswimming

  22. The thing is when those wind filled boxers do try it on with a "serious" dog, no doubt the owners of such dogs will be the ones dropped in the shit....
  23. The world is full of moronic folk!!! Lab, just checking but you haven't fabricated this story to feign injury and pull out of the competition with shroom I had it a few months ago, two lurchers and terrier on lead, keeper telling me i shouldn't be walking on a public track and his fat sweaty lab trying to mount my bitch, who wasn't really, shall we say "receptive" to its advances.....
  24. Don't know the bloke, never seen his line either, but this thread ain't painting a pretty picture
  25. Well judge, wondered why you hadn't replied under many of jptfellterriers posts, and now we have the answer, your hands not working.........and i wasn't refering to your typing
