  1. And here are the nominees.......black dogs for dog jumping no.1.............black dogs for dog jumping no.2......etc etc etc
  2. My first piece of advice would be forget the electric collar, that pup is too young, and unless you have experience your timing will more than likely be off and you will f**k the dog up good and proper. If hes taking an unhealthy interest then he should be on the lead regardless, whats the dog like temperament wise, strong willed, middle of the road? Your correction should be tailored to the dogs temperament. Lots of interaction ON the lead and corrections for any aggression of chase instinct towards them, do not ever let the pup near stock with other dogs at this stage, keep it calm, consi
  3. I've seen it from both sides, i used to be a dog warden many moons ago and most of the time kennels etc can't be arsed to replace the batteries in their scanner so dogs are missed, trouble is if some scummy low life takes your dogs you are lucky to see them again and usually a microchip makes no difference, in the past i have had dogs chipped and tattooed. P.S. Nice little intro before a plug for your chipping service
  4. Real gent, done more for the cause than 99% out there, we salute you Barrie

  5. A cross i always fancied from the CORRECT sort of Shepherd Always wanted to stick one my of imports over a greyhound but never happened, one of mine pegged pheasents for fun, picked up bunnies on the lamp, hunted hares like a beagle and fancied itself as a trainee deerhound. I think they would be good dogs off the right stuff, good nose, drive, feet and tractability......
  6. Is it a salukix grey/whippet Jo? Should be a handy dog......
  7. Its all just a big bag of monkey wank

  8. But thats a pet containment system designed to stop dogs straying off your property, nothing to do woth stopping a dog barking excessivley............
  9. jo, you will have two jobs soon, one in the prison kitchen, the second one taking protein loads from cell block H, get used to gargling and leaking like a faulty tap

  10. Spot on, used to be you earn't your apprenticeship scratting around for the odd rat and rabbit and leanrt about your quarry, hunting and respect, now these spunk bubbles buy a dog and think they are billy big bollocks, not a fecking clue, these plebs are the biggest aid the antis ever needed..........
  11. Nice to see some fun people out there
  12. Trouble is you either want the dog quiet in the kennel or not, some dogs may require to wear a collar over a long period of time, the dog quickly learns not to bark and then you can purchase "dummy" collars, these collars cannot be worn 24/7 anywat, b ut good collars have detailed instructions......You can't reprimand a dog for barking for what the dogs may deem a valid reason and then expect it to be rin tin tin and decide whats acceptable to bark at for you
  13. No, the dogs aren't daft and know when the collars on, two nodules rest against the skin............
  14. cheeky used this method on stabba everytime he asked for his second family pie for supper............
  15. Nah i'm only kiddin lab, got one here, lurcher not terrier, was kenneled for the first 12 months of his life, we moved and he came inside for a bit and is now a friggin nighmare ans squeels and howls when hes not with me, broke out a collar and moving him back out, hes in his kennel as we speak and has been last few days with no problem, terriers are being provoked by the bloody pigeons landing on the runs, flying rats, may break out the uzi.........
  16. Agree waz, must admit i have sold a locator set up and i think thats my only dabble with the classifieds and i sold it to an established member and would only buy off the same, and to be honest pay pal is the only safe way to do things.......
  17. A bit more money will ensure quality and reliability, have you tried putting some lead in her kennel?
  18. They are all corkers lads, parsley i really like the stamp of yours..........
  19. Scummy little wankers dealing in canine misery, there are a few on here and the mods know who they are, better the devil you know than for them to re=register. All dealers should be branded, along with dog theifs, vegatarians and boyzone fans........ In fact my tip would be save your dog faeces and when a peddler appears at a show in the summer a hilarious game of tag could be played where upon when you catch the peddler he is bathed in secondhand canine goodness..........
  20. Yes they work, get a dogtra model, haven't bought one for nearly 10 years but don't think the price has altered much, about £65. Forget about those citronella collars, any dog with a hint of drive will ignore the pathetic spray of mist, also people will tell you that the volt is more severe than a spray of citrus, whats more invasive, a quick correction or burning citrus up a dogs olfactory organs, its all perception......
  21. I'm sure Ian will have a look waz, classifeids have always been a bit of a hot potato and my own personal opinion is the parasites who rip people off should be put in a pit with the constant dog peddlers and beaten to death with a baseball bat dipped in glass and dog shit..............................."selling for a mate".....................f**k off
  22. Ermm, not quite that simple, payment was asked for in advance, and yes whin i am honest and expect honesty in return.........
