I honestly don't think you can differentiate as there are good and bad all over the country.........

Not all dogs will retrieve, some are never taught but do it naturally, when i was training competition dogs I saw many dogs taught the "forced" retrieve, not particually pleasent but very effective.....

In a nutshell no..... As for the average weight of a bullcross, there isn't one, they come in all shapes and sizes, in the days when they first appeared on the scene so to speak, genuine forst cross' came out like peas in a pod, between 23/25 inches, the bitches were usually to heavy for anything other than terriermans dogs and the males were uniform in size, now there are various pecentages of bull and greyhound in the mix and size, build and everything else varies.....

I remember seeing you there, you were the woman with the skunk and coati weren't you My dog wanted that so bad Mine too, im amazed they made it through the day to be honest, i cringed eveytime they went near the floor.... she was mad she was telling me that if any dog did go for it it would get a suprise as its a nasty piece of work Deluded, i also wondered about the negative publicity terrier and lurcher lads would get if one of dogs there that day got a mouthfull..........

I have done various things over the year, i shot, fished, trained dogs for security, tracking and obedience but nothing comes close to working a hunting dog. Dogs have introduced me to the most special people in my life and we have shared the ups and downs of dogwork. Taking a pup out for his first time on the lamp, watching him run the beam, lift the rabbit from that narrow corridor of light and return it to hand brings a feeling of pride, joy and admiration that is difficult to find anywhere else.
