    Being sensible i would agree with you most of the time, however there are mishaps (and sometime wankers involved) that happen. I've been asked to PTS sheep mangled by dogs on a few occasions and shot deer which were carrying tooth marks in arse end. No axe to grind with dog work BTW.

    no mate it's not and neither are the animals caught by the traps the original post is about. Multiple shite dogs thrown from a vehicle can produce those results though.

    Not wanting to lose the FAC has kept me on the straight and narrow more times than I can recall. ?

    Feed mine a mix of raw, boiled or dry depending on what I have at the time. I mix up what I feed from young so never fret if I have to rely on just kibble for a week or two. Let's be honest, none of us would die if we had nothing but Pot Noodles to live on for a few weeks so just feed your dog a good diet the best you can.

    I have a Sharp Ace, picked it up a few months ago and on trying it found that is has a bigger than .22 but not quite a .25 bore. local retired gunsmith recons that thy were altered in small numbers to fire shot 'canisters'. This may or may not be true as I'd not heard of it but seem to remember .22 rimfire shot shells.
