Spot on. We had high hopes for him and he fkd up. Dealt a shit hand as PM but that's not what brought him down.

Before Blair was elected I had many (heated) discussions with colleagues in a very pro Labour workforce. My argument then was that once in power Labour would have to put tax through the roof to fulfil their promises and loose the next election or break those promises and take their chances. As far as I. can see Labour are still a shower of shit and fk all has changed. The country desperately needs change but Labour is not the answer.

Lack of management and mis guided conservationists don't help. Seals, Salmon farming, Pollution, Cormorants, Mergansers and the spread of Otters have not helped the migratory fish situation. My local club have stopped stocking in the interests of rewilding the river and cant understand why the returns have plummeted and the Parr have disappeared.

Not often you post anything I agree with but I do with this. The bit that nails it is is part about PERCEPTION brought about by years of the left wing press and Remainers blaming Brexit for everything and doing their utmost to undermine the result of a democratic vote.

You could say the same about dog men (and all others) when bowhunting was thrown under the bus. The anti's will target the smaller branches until they can cut down the tree. You might not give a fk about shooting but that will be the front line before they target angling.

All jokes aside my wife used to get them with crowds, pain in the arse for a few years and a very real problem for her. We had tickets for Wales v Australia rugby in Cardiff for my boy through youth rugby and I couldn't make it so my wife went with him. I fretted all day that she would be OK and after the match and train journey home she was done with the panic attacks caused by crowds as if you can cope with Cardiff on an international day you can cope with any crowd

Small trout are buggers for swallowing baits, if on a river try an keep in touch with the drift or if a lake keep a tight line and hit bites early. This advice is not so good if your after bigger stuff.

They are not in the numbers on my local river that they used to be. Good few years back I could nip out the back and catch a few bootlaces in minutes if I was short on ferret food.
