  5. My wife and i are going to the new forest camping for the next few days, just looking to ideas of things to do. We wont be taking the dogs but will have bikes and a canoe. Any ideas welcome, especially of good campsites. Cheers
  6. Same as, you really cant beat these! Had mine three seasons and used it ALOT, deep enough too, and its still as good as new. I would buy another tomorrow if i ever lost it, highly recomended never used one of these myself but by the pic wouldnt last imo if thats a plastic handle on the top, couldnt imagine choppping roots,flint, etc it would last to long , but can only speak from seeing it on a pic so might be better made than it looks I have used it plenty on a mix of ground from chalk and flint to heavy clay so i wouls say yes, it is plenty strong enough.   10. I"ve heard loads but the worst was some halfwit wannabe traveller in a pub asking if the pup i had with me had had her ribs snapped yet. I said i didnt know what he was on about so he told me lurchers can only catch rabbits if their last ribs are broken as puppies. I was speechless, hope to f**k the idiot never gets it into his head that he wants a rabbiting dog.

    As BS said, we have some good spots and smokers etc here if you fancy another visit but we have to wait for the end of the shooting season to get onto the game covers. Alternatively we could finally get ourselves organised to make a trip to you

  17. Sterile water, small pot, tcp, cotton wool, tweezers, scissors, stapler, dressings, bandage and vet wrap. Sounds like a lot but fits in a snall ruck sack that stays in the car.
