    the hard lad

The sad thing is that the gobby little turd probably came back later with ten mates or burnt his bike or something
  2. There are far too many idiots on here. Its getting hard work to read through all the dross just to get the gist of the thread.
  3. My young bitch is out of a drakeford bred bitch sired by a firstx colliegrey. Shes had a good enough first season for me, looking forward to the next now.
  4. I think it means hotel accomodation on the day after arrival and before departure are down to you but its all inclusive while on safari?
  5. As above, I could do with some advice from someone who knows what they're talking about. I dont want want to put full details up here but I make Shepherds Huts and need to get a bit more pro active on the marketing front but I dont know the best way to do it. Any advice from those in the know appreiciated
  6. You could try stopping treating dogs as if they were pokemon cards .... that way the problem would never come up
  7. I've always fancied the idea but would have to have the right parents. Trinder, thats a nice looking dog
  8. Nice looking pack, good to see. I've seen Skycats airdale x's and you can see the airedale in their heads, both yours and hers. Looks like some good hunting you have there, post some more pics to make us jealous
  9. I generally agree with what you say, but since when do dogs hold a grudge? I have never known anything like it, they might remember getting hurt but I think you are being anthropomorphic if you think a dog will hold a grudge against another dog. I would say that if a dog thinks another dog has crossed the line it will attack straight away and sort it out, then the balance has been restored and they carry on. I don't think dogs hold any resentment towards a leader dog, they know their place and live from day to day. I have a terrier that holds a grudge, if he thinks he cant win a fight w
  10. Yeah they work but just not on every staple. Anyone got the name of the better ones?
  11. It wasnt closing the staples fully, sometimes it did but alot were no good. Not ideal really, the previous ones were much better
  12. I have the diesel 1.9SDi, good on fuel and just about big enough. Couldnt say much about the petrol one though, could be different but at the day of the day they are just cheap VWs which cant be a bad thing?
  13. I've just finished an "advan" stapler and compared to the ones i've had before it was crap. I cant remember what the other ones were called but i think the came from farlap on here. Does anyone know which i mean or is able to recomend a good one? All the ones on ebay are advan as far as i can see so a supplier would be handy too. Cheers
  14. Yes, was having a crappy day. Not normally quite so negative. Take Skycats advice and ignore me
  15. Why? There are enough careless people involved in the dogs as it is? Perhaps the odd one giving up may not be a bad thing, chances are its a fad and the dogs will be passed on within the year anyway
  16. To be honest ... get him cut so he cant breed any more accidents, find someone who is willing to put the time into training and socialising him, give him to them and take up knitting.
  17. I prefered your second video, good to see the pale dog trusting the beam even when she/he couldnt spot them at first. Looks like nice ground to run too, must've been early season with all those nettles and rabbits squatting so tight.
  18. How many do you think they would have caught if they were run single?
  19. Well im one of the hated "lurcher boys" and i cant see the problem, if the kills are clean and not flukes and the shooter is confident of that before he takes the shot then why not? The same would apply to using air rifles for close range fox too, if the kill is clean and the shooter confident why not? Both are possible but pushing the limits of the rifle. Personally I wouldnt do either but I wont judge those who do
  20. Thanks lads, I gave it maximum adjustment with the front screw but left the rear (creep) screw alone as the manual says it can create saftey issues. Its helped a bit but still not perfect. Having said that I think some of the problem is me, my mate shot it and cloverleafed two groups at 100m while I am only getting 1 1/2" - 2" groups with the odd flier. He ought to be good though as he does it for a living!
  21. There used to be thread up of catty kills, i had quite a lot on there. Lots all my pics now though after the lurcher knocked my laptop off the table and killed the hard drive. I've had a fair few bits and pieces over the years. Always homemade cattys though, hate buying something i could make myself.
  22. I have a Weatherby Vanguard in .243 and the trigger is quite heavy. I've looked up adjustment on the internet and it seems easy enough, just thought I'd ask for any tips before I start. Nothing like learning from other peoples experience
  23. Lost near A259 at Rustington, wearing jesses and bells but no telemetry. Any sightings etc please PM me. Thanks
