    Looks like you had great day at it, I was out yesterday ,netted up a hedgerow and dropped two hobs in and took 8 in a few hours ,ferrets and dogs worked well .I'm back at it tomorrow with long nets ,lot of young about but farmer as asked for it to be done and its new permission so got to crack on .

    I could have gone out everyday on the old land I walked and if we took 1 coney we was lucky as it was baron so to get more than a couple I'm happy fella and it was just good to let the team feel fur again ,my bedy grey bitch was bit hard on first 2 I think she forgot they not bite back lol .

    Had a good morning ,I dropped 75 purse nets and 10 poke nets in and along a double hawthorn /blackthorn hedge that both dogs marked .I placed the busher one side and me and the runner on the other and dropped a hob in each end and they bolted first coney in few minutes and next one hole hopped and netted itself ,one was taken by runner from unseen unnetted hole and she run it full length of hedge and nabbed it just in time and we had another five in the nets by 1 o'clock so over all it was a good start and we lost a couple from unseen bolt holes.     You be able to make lure machine no problem, you can get plans to build one with a old starter motor . Failing that I see a few up for sale on fb for 100 quid Atb

    Cheers bud ,land owner as said if all goes well he'll pass me number on to other farms so hopefully it will bring more permission. I'm out tomorrow ferreting so looking forward to getting out with the stinkers and runner .

    I took a walk down to the village shop early morning to get some milk and bumped into local farmer and asked if he needed any one to ferret his land and he said "pop your phone number and address to the farm later today and we have a chat " I popped into the farm and after having a good chat I walked away with a map in my pocket of the boundary of my new permission ? I'm over the moon I got it and it's holding good numbers of coney and other vermin .

    I was in palma and they packs of street dogs just roaming about ,Spanish hunting dogs get a bad ol life .
