If nothing comes up on here Have a look on fb pages ,I'd travel anywhere in UK to get the type I wanted even if it ment getting on train as I've done it few times

If she's licking it to much it might make it worse so put one of them plastic things on her neck and clean it out daily and I'd use honey and aloe Vera mixed together and pack it in wound ,this works for mine when they got cuts etc or use one of the sprays you can get . Hope it turns out OK

D I get what your saying and I'd clean it up me self but lad obviously don't no how to deal with it so my advice was go vets just on safe side and try find someone who can help show him how to deal with cuts ,rips etc .

Like been said you can flush it out with salt water but like poxon says if you don't no what you doing it's better off going vets ,of course that will cost but I'd rather put me hand in me pocket and no me dog looked after as wounds can soon turn gammy How's it happen ? Looks quite deep in that pic and like been said a puncture wound .

Like you say they a difference and it all comes down to man holding the lead .I like you always have a pup following older dog and out ferreting but at same time we no when pup is tired and time to call it a day .I've seen posts on here lads saying me dog strong and ready before 9 Mt's old and taking this and that, when in reality a juk still a pup and finding it's legs at that age and in no way strong anufe for hard runs and of course some might get away with it but just look on fb at all the world beaters under a year old up for sale because its got to hot to keep a dog ffs but it's taken 3

Place I used to live was like that ,go out with lamp and I'd see couple rabbits if I was lucky and pointless ferreting as nothing about but they was other stuff about but to many eyes about to do anything regular, I've just got some new permission on couple farms so hopefully young bitch will see more .

And when you tell people to hold back on running a sapling ,all you get is why? I had mine out at six months catching stuff and same old bollocks about dogs taking this and that before it's even out of puppy hood, I get folk want to be out and get dog started but I'd rather take me time and wait that little bit longer .

I had a good friend who suffered with heart problems and he had a pigs valve put in and first one packed up so had to have another put in .he was only 30 when he had first valve and 35 when he had second one and sadly passed away at 43 .he was my best friend and had some great times together especially travelling Europe in a old ambulance conversion for couple yrs . Sadly He wouldn't make the life changes needed .

That was some read ,how's the Spanish types going sandy ? I supposed to be out this morning but got Plummer coming so put a stop to that, just moved to a village in Rutland and I was shocked to see so many rabbits about as it was baron around old place ,went out for shine about couple nights ago and young bitch took 6 in hour and half so went home happy .

Get a ferret and few nets and get out doing it ,just find a place away from prying eyes that you've seen rabbits and crack on . What's the worst can happen ? You get told to move on . -
Like Neil said try new batteries and make sure it's got right make of batteries in it ,some batteries will fit but not got the juice to work the mk3 .

That's right ,that's why we give them rd work to build them up and not give them to much until we can see they fit anufe for hard run , and entering to young can do more damage than most think .but lots of 12 mt old world beaters up for sale on fb doing the job ? ffs most don't deserve to keep a animal.

Running a unfit dog on long runs will fcuk its lungs and heart ,if you run a dog unfit it sometimes hacks for a day or two and run it again before it's rested your asking for trouble, you get the same with horses ,no greyhound trainer or racing horse man would ever over run a unfit animal . If you don't believe me give it a go .

A blown dog is a dog that's damaged its heart , lungs because it was run while unfit ,you wouldn't expect a runner to do a marathon without training and same goes for dogs .

Got a old dog here that got sal blood in him and he a whining twat but that might be the whippet part of him ,he good grafter when he younger and done most stuff single handed and like you say only seemed happy when he was throttling something ,he's been retired few years now but still loves to crunch a tree rat and when he injured himself while working he good as gold and let me sort him out but he diffrent juk at home ,just touch him wrong place and he screaming like I was killing him and proper whining twat and he can be a fcuker with other dogs especially staff bull as he hates them and t

Out every day for mooch about, before we moved to new place it was hard work trying to bag a rabbit and we was taking more kaneys than anything else and roe if we pushed one out , but now we at new place I'm really surprised how many rabbits about ,I not see these numbers for over ten year at old place ,plenty of muntjac and roe about the Mrs see munty doe with a fawn walk across our back garden second day we was here, I got two new permissions on farms in village and I'm out tomorrow ferreting and farmers son coming along for couple hours so looking forward to it but just hope me juk don't
