Which caliber would you pick ?

Tried that with the .223, right in the middle of the head, unfortunately the rest of the rabbit was behind its head…… If I remember correctly this was around 120 yards, .223 V-Max! -
Savage seem to make cheap nasty rifles on one hand and decent target tools on the other. Their rimfires are generally simple, agricultural and lack any perceived quality. Having said that they generally work and few have any complaints about them. If its the right price/type/condition it's probably worth consideration. "Personally" I would not consider one, more than happy with CZ, if you feel the need to invest more get an Anschutz. Put a CZ or Anschutz next to a Savage and the differences will be obvious, again though, the Savage tends to work!

General Licence to kill Magpies for the purpose of conserving wild birds. Just got a job come in for this, I've searched NE site and struggling to find anything. Can someone tell me if there is a new GL for the above purpose or do I still need to apply for an individual licence. Cheers!

It's marginally OTT for rats, squirrels, rabbit etc! I grant you they are not all like this, but rabbit with ONE.243 V-Max at around 100 yards! -
We all know Corbyn and Khan are idiots and a disgrace, it isn't about Trump the MAN, its about his position. They both seem to forget just how important the US is to us. But then of course, for Comrade Corbyn to request a meeting with him after his Banquet boycott......what on earth did he expect? Well done Farage!

I'm totally with you here, perhaps I've just been around too long but I have never taken any bull from FEO's, and helped several other people who have had daft issues with them! Some are misguided or simply ignorant, but if you approach the issue sensibly then things are usually resolved rather than having to escalate!

I think that was his whole point, YOU DON'T. He was suggesting too many people just roll over and take it in the arse, as the regions commonly make it up as they go along! If they have it wrong or are being daft then question them, don't just roll over!

I just don't see a natural leader emerging. Boris is a likeable buffoon in my opinion, no problem having him in politics to bring a bit of life to the situation, but I don't see him as a PM!

You're on the Marlin, good luck with that. I am perfectly content with my Magtech, but if I had to rate any semi it would be the Anschutz 520 or 525. Glad you didn't rate the 1022, some say its the best they have used, probably because its so rubbish many throw most of it away and fit the mass of aftermarket parts available to make it usable!!

The Magtech and Mossberg both had a seemingly identical plastic stock a while back. Spot the difference!? Mossberg 7022 Magtech 702 Magtech do apparently offer a wooden stock, this for a start, but I think it may just be the plastic stock we get in the UK
