Here we go again... I know its' for real but it will cost a lot and they will lie with the result so I'll not bother and you will all have to believe me and if you don't you're a prick. What is the conspiracy, what is the secret, why would anyone lie about their existence IF they are out there!?? I have said several times I perfectly accept the likelihood of odd releases/escapees, but show me some current proof, not daft blurry pictures or ridiculous comments like, why would anyone show you proof with your attitude!

FFS just what is the big secret? "We have Evidence, we have pictures and DNA and road kill but we can't show you for obvious reasons, no labs in the UK will admit it, so you will just have to believe me, and if you don't you're a prick!" So, its a national conspiracy to keep the truth from the public. WHY? Is it any wonder there is more than a degree of scepticism?

Exactly, people post daft pictures like this all the time saying its irrefutable proof of Big Cats, absolute rubbish, it's foxes, corvids etc! Not a single sensible picture, video, body etc have I ever seen. With a breeding population of 250 of one type alone, seems more than odd we can't actually find a single one. Perhaps we need to call in Packham or Attenborough, Attenborough's crew always seem to find their target, seems finding a big cat in the wild in the UK would make an excellent program, so why don't they do it????????!

Your comments are bang out of order, show me some evidence, stop hiding behind ridiculous posts or comments, just what is the secret all about. I'm out all over the country all the time and have been for nearly 50 years, I also have guys that work for me in many other parts of the country, and I know large numbers of people in the pest control and gamekeeper business nationwide, that amounts to being out far more than you. EVIDENCE is required, not opinion or suggestion or stupid pictures of domestic cats or deer eaten by fox etc. Seems some of us have far more experience than o

Breeding population of 250! Never have I seen a convincing picture, or video or kill damage or big cat body. I am not, and never have suggested that there has never been the odd big cat escapes/releases into the wild, but those trying to prove it are just bonkers with the articles and comments they make!

I really thought you were joking when you first said solid ammo is not allowed for anything but target shooting but you all know this dont you. What has led your region and local RFD to believe this is beyond me! Interestingly, things don't work like that the other way round, the use of Expanding ammo for target use is not a valid reason to acquire it. I'm not following that at all, but you always could and still can use solid ammo on ANY wildlife it is Lawful to shoot with solid. Even on deer, (where the Deer Act 1991 specifies expanding) for the purpose of humane dispatch Solid could be shown to be lawful (under The Regulatory Reform (Deer) (England and Wales) Order 2007)

Your comment seems to have taken on a life of its own. As I suggested earlier you are taking the piss, either that or pig ignorant, SOLID AMMO IS ALLOWED FOR PEST CONTROL. As far as I recall there was never a Law about ONLY using Solid on rabbits etc. HP/expanding have been around for donkeys but were never commonly available for pest control and only very few were made. Their effectiveness and availability increased steadily and became the norm for Pest Control some years back. Time to get this thread back on topic!

Yes, also in France where I have a place, but its not easy to find them even if you can get permission on the land.

We all used solid years back, there was little choice then, and we seemed to be able to stop rabbits etc with them. But we all used stones and sticks and clubs and bows etc etc years back as well, they all worked after a fashion, but times change and so has ammo!

Years seem to go up and down, last year was a little quieter than usual for me, but still busy. Things are already very busy this year, one area in particular where I control several owners land has erupted with them.
