She can certainly be rather direct and unfortunately in this day and age people generally don't like the truth. She is absolutely correct on the food front, you only get fat because you eat more than your body expends, it isn't complicated. So, if you weigh too much you eat too much, and probably don't do enough. The best and simplest diet ever invented..... Eat less, do more!

All mine are 452 variants. There were a few tweeks before we ended up with the 455. I have shot a couple of 455 and to be honest there doesn't seem much in it, although the 455 is a different gun with a couple of changes. In honesty you are not going to go wrong with a CZ, I know several people who are still running the BRNO versions and they are accurate and reliable as ever!

Rewarding it may be for the time you are there, but traps, bait boxes, etc continue to work when you are not. Without doubt shooting can be fun and challenging, but few infestations have ever been solved by shooting alone.

Nothing wrong with the Howas and nothing wrong with those groups for the vast majority of field work. Have fun with the home brews. 1" or 1 hole at 100 yards with a 22-250 isn't going to make much difference to normal 22-250 quarry!

As #2, the answer is possibly yes to where you are and yes to your sisters. But you need to talk to your region!

Thank for your reply and i realise it would be difficult to cater to all markets. The brief however intails that I design for one or two particular cars so it is a niche market anyway. As for having the box sitting securely I have a couple of things in mind like rails etc. Thank you for the feedback much appreciated Well, it basically becomes custom then. Do what you like, I'm struggling to see what you want to know. The type of box found in many Sporting situations may well contain shotguns in their Broken down state, first thing you need to establish is if you are going to accomm -
Deker, like I said I'm not going to argue. There are no inaccuracies in what I've said. What the BASC said to me is reported above as I remember it and I have no reason to remember different. Bottom line is, in the REAL World, it's down to you to PROVE in Court what you say. Anything verbal comes down to your word against someone else's, and in this case they have a licence to lose and a prosecution to gain themselves if they weren't the Occupier and thus knowingly allowed you possession of a firearm. Chances are if their back's against the wall for both prosecution and revocation, th

So, after saying Just be aware it needs to be in writing in #8 you now concede it makes no difference if it is verbal, it may just be harder to prove. Yes, I know better than what you have reported the BASC as saying! There is NO difference in English Law between a written and verbal agreement and any permission from the Occupier, does NOT need to be in writing!! And nobody can write a binding contract applicable in this country that does not comply with British Law (and God forbid EU law as well I suspect), so it makes no odds whatsoever if you have permission in writing or verbal

There are a number of Gun boxes available for cars, off the peg and custom built. Not many people have a genuine use for them and most boxes are a pain, and mess up space in the motor. Your issue will be designing/making something efficient, cost effective and that fits well and SECURELY, there are a lot of different motors with different space and a lot of different guns people want to carry! Good luck! -
The latest Firearms Guidance in 6.18 suggests that the definition of "Occupier" that should be adopted is that found in S27 of Wildlife and Countryside Act - However, they are guidelines and any force is free to reject that interpretation as the guidelines have no force in law and thus each force is free to interpret it any way they like until a definitive definition is established by a higher Court or by further legislation. I believe that's the BASC's point on this as to why it's grey and care is needed and thus why the definition you mention above might be the one followed.

not all.of scotland want independence but with attitude like that we'll Why don't we just move the border a bit further North, then everyone who wants Independence can have the top bit, and those that don't can have the bottom bit, but we keep all the oil of course regardless!

That is an incredibly narrow view, does it not occur to you the only reason the EU want us IN is because we have more to offer, than they have to give. They will not stop trading with us, but so what if they did, there is a big world out there that does want to trade with us, but at the moment EU trade agreements make that harder being in the EU than out of it.

I know this subject has been debated many a time, and despite the latest "suggestion/definition" still remains a little grey in my mind, as no precedent has been set (as far as I'm aware), hence my "tiny bit grey", . #2 Regardless of that, getting permission in writing or verbally (from whoever that may be) makes no difference as you say!
-
" ....the advice I received came from a person at the BASC Firearms Team who was an ex-police licensing officer".... and what point would you be attempting to make with this comment, are you suggesting and ex FEO happens to know the Law on written and verbal contracts, most don't even know the Law on Firearms? There is NO difference in Law between a written and verbal agreement!

Just be aware it needs to be in writing, and that comes from the BASC Firearms Dept. not me. I asked them about this less than a month ago. Their advice was anyone wanting to rely on the Occupier exception needs a letter from their friend with the permission to say (from my memory) that he is the occupier, has the shooting rights, has the right to grant permission, and grants you permission to shoot under his supervision. Without it in writing, should he turn out not to the the occupier (this provision regarding the definition has not been tested in Court and / or he could have misrepresen

Normally a licence will be required and the rules on shooting seals in Scotland are somewhat different to England/Wales. But damage to nets does not need a licence, in England/Wales. I've never had reason to shoot a seal yet, but as mentioned the 600ft lb and 45g is a minimum legal requirement. Do we actually have any of the really big ones around the UK, I was under the impression most of ours are the Grey and Common, I'm not suggesting they are small, but I would have thought 600ft lb plus of Hornet would be ok. I think advice from someone with a bit of experience would be us

Stick with the shabby sheik look. I've just done some work on a nearly new, very expensive redwood, outside, single seat, trying to bring back that fresh new look, took me 2 weeks and I'll never do it again. It wasn't even bad, I thought half hour work with some oil and I'm in business, not a bit of it!

There are some cracking sounding mixes here, and pictures.... and just like all the pictures outside the Spanish street cafes, don't they look good in the pics!

It's Britain's vote. And you're part of it. ...and Malta and Cyprus, and was it Gibraltar as well, I'm still not following why!

 HMR circa 245ft lb. Circa 15.5g-20g bullet. 22-250 up to about 1300ft lb, probably a tad more with the right home brew! Circa 35g-60g bullet Its not a big brother, its not even in the same family.

Having heard yet more from Cameron today it is plain to see he has got us nothing of any significance at all. Smoke screens and mirrors with nothing credible. Let me make it clear that in the early days I was happy with a Common Market, but Europe has escalated into the Democratic Republic of, thats not what I signed up for and not something I want any part of. Boris is for out, and I hope the out vote will actually have a good chance of success!

I have never had cause to use the sort of traps described above, I use bait boxes, burrow baiting in the right controlled environments, break backs, and other assorted spring traps, gas, live traps, drop boxes (there are similarities there) and glue boards....oh yes, and shoot them at times. Any, even vaguely sizeable rat infestation will almost always involve a combined plan of action.
