No I don’t know them personally but from what you have said there a first class twat if there getting rid of a dog because there’s no game to chase, surly not every rabbit in the area has f****d off in the last 16 month,it’s just a lame excuse unless you know different?.
-
Let’s hope this time around she gets a permanent home, try your best to make sure she doesn’t end up with another twat good luck.

I can still smell duramitex lol what I remember is months after washing the dogs you Could smell duramitex every time they got wet,I used to mix it with 2 gallons of water pour it over dogs then spray kennels out with no gloves or mask!
-
I think he’s sold them cos I enquired about them, there £350 new round my way.

Duramitex was an organophosphate that’s why you can’t get it anymore, taktic is not an organophosphate but still dangerous, I used duramitex for years but knowing what I know now I wouldn’t use again.

I bought the hush power 4.10 much quieter than I expected,I had a couple of shots at a tin sheet at 20 yards and I could hear the gun fire then a second later I heard the pellets hit the tin sheet were as normally firing a standard 4.10 you don’t hear the pellets hit the sheet because of the load bang, with eley 2 1/2 cartridges there was a nice pattern,I then shot the rabbit at just over 20 yards which has got to be a good omen! Only negative is they are heavy in comparison to a standard single 4.10, what I also liked is there’s plenty to look at down the barrel so it’s easy to find your targe

My busher terrier pup of 10 month is silent no yipping which I wasn’t expecting as every terrier I’ve had yiped when close to game but now I am used to it I quite like it as like you say if you where you shouldn’t be it’s a good trait,my pup might not yip but after 10 months I can read him well now so I know when he’s on something.

Cracking pics foxpac 2. -
Some cooked fish even poorly dogs will eat it, if it turns it’s nose up try by hand if no joy take it to vets.

Thanks for video, ideally the comparison should have been two 4.10s one hush power the other not,it’s hard to tell off video but I think the hush power still goes off with a crack,I’ve been to see a 2nd hand hush power today £225 can’t make my mind up lol.

Surely this is a case of each to their own,I like to hunt what’s ever about which is mainly rabbits and game birds to me that’s bushing, the fact that I don’t go out purposely for Fox’s does not make my dogs inferior to dogs that just hunt fox does it? I find it laughable that on the bushing section that some frown on chasing rabbits. -
It’s rabbits Darren, mainly in and running from brambles and cover pushed out by dog that works around my feet,I’ve recently got rid of a 4.10 d/b which I’ve had years but it was a hammer gun which I’ve never liked, the land I shoot on one side the boundary is next to houses were the rabbits are hard to keep down but with dog and a quiet gun I should kill a few.

Cheers rimfireboy & Tom I wil have a look at 20g hush power.

I prefer mine to hunt rabbits & game birds as there are plenty of both about, for me you can’t beat watching dogs hunt and chasing rabbits, you can’t beat rabbits for learning dogs how to use there noses & build fitness,if my dogs only hunted Fox I would have some really shite days bushing. -
I’ve had 4 pairs of lowa mountain gtx which are good boots, gortex lined so 100% waterproof.have a look a Altberg boots Richmond North Yorkshire, they make and repair,re-sole boots, they come in 4 or 5 width sizes,I’ve there walking boots & motorbike boots and I’ve had there work boots, the leather on Altberg boots is the best I’ve had it’s twice as good as lowa boots which no matter how much care I put in they crack in time and the leather becomes stiff.

Don’t call it a day jimmy on here as you would be missed.good luck with what ever is going on in your life.

Don’t no then black neck but i bet it’s some kind of injury that’s gone the wrong way,I’ve shot rabbits with there ears missing just two scabby lumps left from when farmer cut the grass for hay and I’ve lost a dog through black thorns going the wrong way, it’s tough out there especially for rabbits there’s always something or someone after them. Lurcher lads are reincarnated as rabbits you best watch out,

Take it for a walk fecking treadmills .

I’ve had cysts full puss which were lead shot from shot guns were rabbits have taken a few pellets but not enough to kill them, the ones I’ve seen tend to be on the outer body back legs & back which take the brunt of the shot.
