    I’ve been out a couple of times with the bsa now and I like it,first night was a bit of a learning curve because I had forgotten how the wind effects those little pellets,the first rabbit was only 20 yards head shot but it wasn’t dead so it got me thinking it was under powered so I took it for a test on my mates chronograph,the first shot was only 510 FPS in a freshly filled gun but every shot after was 744 FPS,so tonight after filling it I fired two shots off then the first rabbit i shot 35 yards stone dead head shot, I can’t believe how accurate it is knocking a rabbit over at 40 yards,also

    If you look at the pups the second from the left & second from right have a small white blaze on there chest which soon disappeared as the dogs coat change colour,these pups were 1/16 border terrier the rest was Rillington blood,at the time mid 1990s there was only me and Printer off this forum that had so much Rillington blood in are dogs apart from G Newcombe,the point I am making is these were very well bred dogs work wise yet they had small blaze of white on there chest,the pup second from the left I kept and as you can see he had no white on his chest when he was older but what he di

    Morton were you into Bedlingtons 1998-2000 ? I ask cos a few of us started the Yorkshire working Bedlington terrier club,the idea was that like minded folk could get together,we had a couple of really good shows but then it fizzled out because some would never use a un registered dog etc etc,have you any decent pics of your dogs you could post on here?,

    Got the gun bsa ulta se multi shot 1.77 with silencer,hawk 3x12 x50 illuminated scope,as new condition 12 months old,turns out the bottle he was sharing with a mate so I got it for £300 without bottle,just ordered one of those pumps tomburras recommend. Any pellet recommendation for shooting rabbits? Thanks everyone for advice.

    I was quoting Morton who said he flushes fox after fox from cover and that’s why I said he flushes more foxes than a mounted pack.I was making a comparison between Lucas & bedlington terriers as I’ve owned and worked both ,I don’t believe I am ridiculing Morton more I am questioning some of his claims.Morton is A very passionate man with regards his Bedlingtons he’s not scared to say what he believes is right which I like but I am also not scared to say what I think but there’s no harm ment.

    Beardie/border x greyhound,didn’t like the car but lots of dogs aren’t keen on traveling in cars,good with kids,good nose could catch rabbits,easily trained,nice dog.

    What breeds are in the dogs make up,I am asking this because of his pendulum ears like a Labrador? Nice pup looks well reared.

    I am not sure Fred as I’ve never bred liver pups, I’ve seen young 3-4 month old liver pups but by this time the coats are changing colour,they have liver noses & different coloured eyes than blue bedlingtons.
