  1. Very smart, I’ve a brick kennel boarded with insulation it holds heat well.
  2. Bad news Aussie whip,those snakes would do my head in.

The reason dogs don’t like nail clippers bill it’s because some people use poor quality clippers which crush the nail before it starts to cut which must be very painful ,if you buy some like mine in pics you will have no problems,mine are very sharp & slim ,my dogs don’t struggle when I clip there nails as it’s a painless experience,regards cutting the nails too short and making them bleed this is not a problem if you buy some quick stop of internet which is £5-10 this quick stop stops the bleeding instantly.

  5. For hardening pads road walking but also Denis Breary a greyhound vet from the midlands probably retired now told me surgical spirit, used twice a day for a few minutes,put surgical spirit in a mug and dip dogs foot for a few mins.

  10. I had the same problem with a bsa ultra se, it was impossible to get any consistency,I could get a couple of shots in a 10p circle then 3 all over the place,I changed to jsb exact 177 it’s now very accurate and very consistent.

There Sealyham terriers aussie whip some were hybrids between Sealyham & Russell.2 good books to look at are by Jocelyn Lucas, hunt and working terriers and the Sealyham terrier it’s working for sport ,some good pictures from another era especially in the Sealyham terrier it’s working for sport there’s pics of badger digging at the Prime ministers country home chequeres.

Hush power 4.10 single,very good condition,I’ve only had the gun around a month I am selling as it a bit too heavy for the bulk of my shooting which involves plenty of walking,it’s exceptionally quiet and I’ve knocked quite a few rabbits over with it but I need something lighter. Gun can be tried. £225.

I’ve had working dogs for 34 years lurchers,terriers,gun dogs and in all that time I’ve never had a collar with a name information tag on any of them and luckily I’ve never needed one (touch wood)whats prompted me to re think this is I recently found a Labrador cross walking at the side of the road on it’s own, I shouted the dog over and rang the tel number on the tag and the dog was back with his owner in 10 mins it was as easy as that,without the tel number what would I have done! Rang police or take it home with me.does anyone whos dogs work with collar on while bushing have negatives to we

Illegal lamping in hull has just been on look north (Yorkshire local bbc news) stating there had been rise in this crime and the police are going to crack down on it.last week end the farm next to me was hit for 2 consecutive nights were they left the gates open with sheep in the field & broke locks and chains of gates plus driving all over crops.i don’t get this driving all over fields in 4x4s ,I am not saying I am perfect but if I had strayed off my permission I wouldn’t want to advertise the fact by driving a 4x4 and damaging gates etc .
