    Fuel is at the price it is because of the labour government putting it in the sin tax bracket along with fags and booze. Thats why there is a supposed price rise of a penny shortly. We need to wean ourselves off oil in order to be able to rely on ourselves, not some muslim country that despises us.

    I had a boss who was a veggie and tree hugger. Nice bloke mind, but i would just take the piss. We had some good conversations and discussions. I asked him what he would do if he got mice in his house, would he leave them be or trap them and that usually shut him up.

    Personally i have a price for a standard garden and another for larger jobs, there can be a massive difference between a normal garden and an acre. Contract moling is a no-no, dont bother. Make sure your insured up to the hilt too.

    No trapper has a 100% clean kill rate. Unless your experiencing this too regularly, it not unusual. Just make sure you check your traps at regular intervals. Its more common to catch moles too far at the back of their bodies, the trap can be tweaked to alleviate this (duffus) but ive only caught a couple of moles by the front limb and take it as something that cant be helped.

    Ive got loads of permission local, you can tag along with me no probs. Im busy at the moment mole trapping but when i get a quiet period i need to do some rabbiting so could be beneficial.

    Its still much too early up here in cleveland, the ground is still cold.. I waited till the last minute to plant mine last year. I noticed BQ selling spuds to plant last week.

    Good luck! Beekeeping is defo on my list of thigs to do. I would get a hive tomorrow but the wife wont let me keep them in the garden and i cant keep them on the allotment so im stumped. I feckin love honey too!
