Ye they are ok to be used from the box though tweaking the trigger does help.

No it doesnt make you sound like a pompous tosser! Some things you know your good at and some things you know your not. I love reading the dogs section on here but i will never comment cos i dont have a clue and i dont pretend to. I do know about moles though and i dont think there is much i dont know about them. Horses for courses!

Sorry pal, the general pest control. Worried it will be a waste of money doing modules im already familiar with but maybe worth getting the paper to prove it! No probs. Ye, i did that course. Its a good course but you dont really learn anything that you couldnt with homework. What it does do however is give you a great certificate. The BPCA general is proof you know a good bit and it will open doors in the PC world.

When i first started i used to sketch but its pointless as soon as you mov e them along it all goes to pot. Mark them and record how many in each field, take this morning for example. Today i set 10 in field 1, 10 in field 2, 30 in field 3. 30 on "high field" and 10 in field in front of farmers house. I now can stay in each field until i find all the traps as i know how many there is in each one.

Hope not tuzo!! You might be right mind, will have to have a closer look. If they are i will put them in a pen and fatten them for the plate.

Pic 1. This is the cockbird. Anyone know what the randy little fu**er is??? Hes like a tomcat with four balls at the moment! If you look behind him there are some others. Some are pure black some are crossed black and him by the look of it. Anyone know what the black ones are??

True story. Couple of years back i got a call to a house to deal with mice. Got there and right in the front room window is loads of flyers stuck up for all the usual sh*te - lots of Anti fox hunting rubbish, some about animals used in labs. So im in two minds as i stand there at the front door wondering whether its a trap of some kind as its obvious the owners are left wing bunny cuddlers. Anyway, i thinks sod it and knocks on the door and the woman answers, so i goes in and lo and behold, she had mice and wanted them rid of. I only had poison and snap traps on me but she didnt give a toss

Nice one!!! I bought 50 last month from flatpack and they didnt need tweaking at all - the hook that is. I bent the trigger loop a little to get a cleaner kill mind. Great trap, cant reccomend them enough.

Ive just been given about a dozen hens after last weeks gales blew my mates henhut to pieces and he has given up. His loss - my gain! Anyway, im no expert so i cant identify what he has given me. Is there a website with piccies on for me to work out whats what? Im guessing some of them are banties as they are small. They are beautiful birds, some grey some white, and some goldy along with a cockbird which is all goldy round its head and neck .

Vitor gave him too much respect. He should have done what sonnen did and just go for it. I doubt anyone can stand with Silva, its going to take another wrestler to beat him IMO. Mixed night for the Brits- Taylor looked good! Shame for Kelly but he was up against a solid oppo. Got fight of the night so at least Kelly gets a bonus there!

Fundamentally the price has to be right. Overcharge and you wont get asked back, undercharge and your a fool. I could put a couple of daft big bills in , get the money but there is no chance of returning. That said we could be sat on our arses at a till in a supermarket chatting up the girls for £6 an hour. Its got its plus points but its still only £6 an hour. A few quid per mole means, imo a.) You catch loads of moles and put a whopping bill in and farmer giles isnt happy but pays up. b.) The month after when one or two pop up you drive over there, set traps, drive back over next

I always carry duffus, scissor and talpex in my van in large numbers and depending on the terrain i choose accordingly. I personally prefer duffus too (flatpack) but there is a place for scissor and talpex and i couldnt be without either. I have a handful of trapline too, they are very handy in certain situations and pack a hell of a punch for such a small trap!
