  1. Ha!!! Thought i might get a pun about my large member ! No mate, straight in garden so no excuses!
  2. Ok, running in conjunction with JoeD's Largest pumpkin comp but substituting pumpkin for the classic British Marrow . Easy to grow, and easy to grow big, should be a laugh too. If we get enough competitors its on, same rules as joes pumkin comp, not sure about finish dates as for obv reasons we can finish earlier than halloween. Leave your name if you want to get thrashed by my monster marrow.
  3. Ok mate, I will do a large marrow thread to run along side your Large pumpkin competition. If i get a few takers im sure we can do both joe. Im in on the pumpkin regardless, i fancy trying them, just hope the little scrotes round here dont see it.
  4. I love a comp!!! Would have preferred largest marrow competition but it wasnt my idea. Maybe winner chooses the vegetable next season?
  5. Sod it im in too. Never grown them before but will give it a try!!! I will grow 1 and try to hide it!!!

Dont think there is anything jack. We were talking about this the other day.
  7. Not sure here. Love the challenge and sounds great fun but i get broke into regularly and havig a monster pumkin in the garden will only attract more litte arseholes.
  8. Cheers bert. Yes, getting some good feedback! Its a nice easy and uncomplicated book.
  9. Totally wrong mate, they are first class arseholes. Years ago our lasses dog was in agony and her dad took it to pdsa but they refused to treat it because he worked and wasnt on the dole, even though the dog was in agony.
  10. Bloody hell lab! You could well rue losing that. I found a fossilised sea-horse on the beach when i was a kid, you could see all the detail, i lost that too and reckon it was prob worth something.
  11. Nah. Im always dreaming of digging something valuable up too when im moling but no such luck yet. Cant knock a tryer!

  14. Cheers sean. Im rubbish at sums mate, how many metres long and wide is sq metres. Is it 8 metres by 10 metres?
  15. I was talking to a lad today about allotment sizes and he was talking in "rods". Bluffed i knew what he was on about but didt have a feckin clue! Googled it and computer says a rod is 25 sq metres. That seems awfully large!!! Anyway, does anyone else do rods? is this the norm? I thought my allotment was a big one but now im wanting to know how big everyone elses is! ooer missus
