Ego can take you down that road with the make or break attidude. I suppose many tykes have ended a career before it's started with this method.
-
Any thing is good as long as you practice I would imagine , they just need to be uniform i.e. size an weight. Practice is the key unless your a natural.
-
Took a bit of getting used too at first , a ten mil lead Carried more weight than I was expecting. But the kill rate has increased fore sure. Only shooting rats with a milbro cast alloy they go nowhere once hit.
-
A lot of that cost would be overpriced materials + labour from a guaranteed payroll. Back in the 80s bunny huggers built a Holt for the otters at a cost of £1700 , a mile from the Mersey river were the only fish in them days were a special Brown trout that floated rather than swam.
-
Bought this off mick dad in the summer, at £60 there not cheap but will last a fair time i hope. Took a bit of getting used too at first and the uniformed shot has improved my shooting no end.

Lol.......as egos go you two are mere part timers. Only room for one king in a kingdom.

I find rabbits well on the ball before tenish , as the night progresses they seem to be more relaxed with a belly full of grass. I think the habit of going late on is born from being were you shouldn't be really. As being on permission there's no need to hide and still have a good nights kip. Tonight for an hour after work.

The shoot around me has a few trail cams, and although all have a disguise the best is the cow pat.

When we are dead we're dead. No afterlife or redemption , just plain old dead The problem is people just can't accept it and need hope and belief. We only have one crack at life and I'm not one for wasting valuable time living my life on the interpretations of a silly book written by a foreigner from a land that wants to wipe out non believers. Nah.. too busy living my life And when I'm dead I'm dead.

Islays are of good peaty flavour, Lagavulin being the best . Though Edrador is nectar of the gods. Have a small collection of single malts ..19 .. Always taken neat.

Only one strain as far as I'm aware. And being carried by fleas is why it lies dormant for long periods until the warmth of a rabbit hatches off the eggs

That rabbit is no different than any I used. If I remember correctly a couple were hair loss was all over the head And I don't think that is Rhd When a rabbit has myxy sores appear around the nose , mouth , ears and eyes. if it survives the scarring will be in those areas , along wilth a great loss of condition.
-
Well jok , started with no rabbits on the ground at all . Picked three different areas with myxy present, ferreted and long netted a total of about 27 scar healed bunnys. Onto the eighth year now , though it has reared its head once or twice only 15/20% were affected. The last five years we've took 300+ annually. Even see stoats now the rabbits are back. And they are still spreading. I can't say it will work for everyone but it has for me, Hope this helps , atb Th.
-
Just need to release , they do their own breeding. It does work and the immunity will pass on to a percentage of their offspring.

Mid Tube Or Stopped End
Treehands. replied to Dig-deep-draw-charlie's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Unless excavated completely, we can only guess the layout of an earth. Stop end or no stopend some quarry can get in the habit of meeting the dog mid tube , learning from past experience to keep open tube behind him to enhance his chance of escape. A deep sharp corner is as warm and dry as any stop end and I've seen chambers to fit a man with multiple exits. Drains are regular overnighters and have ended many a good dogs career for having no stop. Which makes me think some quarry puts safety over comfort on choosing were to sleep. I always found when you go for round two on a big spot -
Hibbiscrub from all equine outlets or diluted dettol.

It's days of being mounted are well over Neil . The pair of twats put it in me bag hoping the missus spotted it. Your right AT, proper little grafters them tiny dogs . Scary at times as they fit in anything, and they have wiped the smiles off many faces including my own.

He lost milly last week At , the one in the pic is mayo. You should come along next time At. Found this on the tip and tried to take it back to the Wirral , but it jumped ship before we hit the tunnel Atb Th

Only half of him has died, the other half is still in the surgery Can only be a cremation for Pete BURNS , That's if the council allows the burning of plastic.
