    Nice offer from the pair of you, I'm touched thank you. I've had a wobbly stock for 8yrs now and I'm comfortable with it. Stil shoots well for me so we're both ok. Though the yellow gaffer tape hides the woodscrew + grip fill repair, if it was camo with my bad eyes I would never find where I last left it. Cheers ..th..

    Don't shoot many rats as a rule ....dogs... But the tip is too full to be safe. Shooting rats in rubbish is a test in itself as they do not wait around and can be from 0 yrds to 40yrds and the rubbish is up to 20 mtrs high. Took a few on the run and a couple too close for the scope. Couldn't retrieve all the rats and a good few were lost in the shite.

    Don't worry about the bottle blowing up , David . I have an Asian neighbor down the road who fills it for me. I'm sure it won't reach me from that distance , But I'm sure someone on here will say different.

    What's a "test" for the bottle come with the gun. Never wanted to blow me trumpet , but the rats I missed were running an only got one runner out of three. An the rabbit , I new I missed as soon as I pulled. The static rat was the best at 44 yrds/ paces. Only use two pellets in the gun crossman premier ultra magnum (best) And webley accupell a close second.

    I wasn't born to be perfect , 7/10 will do me. My gun has been snapped , burnt and driven over an has had a hard life an bares the scars of battle with pride. I even put new gaffer tape on just for the photo yer cheeky bugger !!!!! I meant the offer too big mac, you and invisible David ( if you can find him that is ) This is air rifle heaven...pigeon , crow, rat and rabbits in abundance

    Never ment to be controversial on my first post, jmho Had the rapid nearly 20yrs so it kind of feels like a third arm you could say. Hence not feeling the need to practice/train to shoot it. Only have the one gun so if I don't know how it shoots now , I never will. Only stated cattys take practice..never stated I even have one , never mind an expert !!!! As for where it matters most ( in the field ) my team can put the bunnys in the bag. First light today 10 shots..5 rabbits 2rats Missed 2rats an a rabbit . I must say I think it a bit unfair that all you top notch pellet thrower

    Nailed to the mast deker, my thoughts entirely . Big Mac , I have unlimited access to prime rabbit ground just stepping out the back gate. Your welcome to come up and prove that what you preach you can put into practice. You can also bring invisible David along to carry all the rabbits. Serious offer , just pm me. Sometimes we can put to much thought into something . Thus stepping from being an air rifle advocat to an air rifle annorack Shooting rabbits with a catty !!! That demands Practice.

    Never mentioned a springer, competition shooting or even plinking in the back garden. Just pointing out more important disciplines to practice other than just pulling the trigger. And as for the comment on my rifle...go take yer face for a Barry White.... I don't practice per say , but shoot a lot and still have good returns. Never wanted to be the best , just a competent shot with clean kills. And you reckon you can sneak up on a rabbit on a close cropped flat grass field !!!!

    Silly answer , .. Stalking involves movement , and movement is picked up by a quarry species. Along with your stack of guns David you must also have an invisible suit. As for coming home empty handed , it happens but is rare.

    Finding the best pellet for your chosen gun is part and parcel of buying the weapon of choice is it not. There is only two ways of shooting air rifles... Static or Stalking. Static being the easier of the two Though both require fieldcraft , stalking requires ...hand..eye..target..coordination. How many practice ...fieldcraft..speed shooting . That's what puts bunnys in the bag not training to shoot a gun. My mates are good on targets but not as good in the field. If you see the quarry it can see you. You snooze you lose as they say.

    I've shot air rifles from a young age and still do . If your new to shooting then yes by all means there is a need to practice to shoot the gun. But if there is experience behind you the thing to practice is fieldcraft , not shooting the gun. Before shooting live quarry on a session the gun is zeroed , after that it's fieldcraft all the way... Rapid 7 mark 2 not exactly pretty but she's mine. Bought it new an she serves me well.
