  1. Glad for you. They are a gun I never took to. U.
  2. One eyed vixen! She looks like she has had a run in with a car too, check her back leg! She entered a pond with ducks on it. I have shot fox's at night with ducks in there possession before so knew what she was on! A good hand squeal and out she popped, 30 yards WMR. No got to find the cubs, I have an idea where they may be too! U.
  3. That reminds me of me several years ago. Hard work and well done. U.
  4. Mine was until I lifted it out the stock! U.
  5. Great session and story. May there be more. Thanks. U.
  6. Yeah, can be a pain.Thanks. U.
  7. In the plantations with my 410 and reloads. Good fun until I found a fox, then I wish I had a rifle! Nevertheless it was good to get a few birds. U.
  8. A walk is always good for you. Well done guy's. U.
  9. The dog is in the photo! U.
  10. Took Hattie out on the pigeons today. What a grand cheap airgun, always makes me grin. We got a good soaking and in that cold wind Jess looked chilled so I called it a day. Three woodies and a squirrel. I missed a few but blame the twigs. Pellet of choice today, wasps, the worst l have ever seen! They work though and Hattie shoots them, going by the plinking session. U.
  11. Sitting sir, it's not often I connect with a flying bird!A flying bird with a flintlock is a worthy challenge and worth ten with a cartridge gun. U.
  12. Not bad for flint and shot. The gun has not been cleaned for a week but using olive oil keeps it all good. U.
  13. Little Jess bolted a few rabbits this morning. She is starting to respond to directions from me now. Anyway got a good buck rabbit that Jess worked out of cover and Jess half retreived it. Man and dog working together. U.
  14. Ask away, glad to help. Thanks feltwad. Cheers fella. I was wondering whether you use BP or pyrodex? We shoot cap and ball revolvers at my rifle club and so I get Pyrodex easily enough but was wondering whether it worth the licensing hassle of shooting real BP? I don't recommend pyrodex and it won't work in a flintlock. Pyrodex is way more corrosive than black powder. Black powder is much much better. U.
  15. Excellent collection. Nothing comes up like an old English double gun. U.
