    I have scopes on my rimfire as did most my cf rifles years ago with the exception of a couple of lever guns in 30wcf and 357m.Thanks U.

    I was sneaking along a hedge I could see through and the ground was lower the other side.One came running towards us and froze by us under the hedge. Just a few blades of grass were between us. Not enough to worry a ball. U.

    I get to take a magpie with a cap and ball gun! I had some good fortune whilst rabbit hunting and got a nice 25yard shot at the pied thief! Got me some good shots in on the rabbit, the closest was five yards or so and the longest was 50yds. . U.

    Cuckoo numbers are not huge and they only sabotage a nest, they don't like hunt for nests to feed their young and the magpie is very prolific compared to cuckoo's.

    This was a light night when I was harvesting rabbit. Ten years of selling rabbits. All bolt guns. When I tried auto's the haul and reliability dropped. Over the years the two auto's soon went. U.

    thanks that makes a bit more sense now . If it is possible to make sense of non sense . I guess hunting with a cattie if someone took offense they could get you for cruelty .Yes.I wondered what the law is on spears and the such? Throwing spears? U.
