    It did not long after getting it. It was just the cocking shoe on the edges of the cocking slot. Some grease stopped it. No big deal. U.

    It is a good spot, it's a shoot on an estate.I check fox's for the keeper best I can and have free run of the place so as pheasant season is finished I thought I would sneak about checking the woodies and rabbits. Thanks. U.

    Thanks, I got to the bottom of it now. The stock on my cz452 is terrible for the receiver and I soon learnt that sitting the action on pads to lift it out the stock and give the barrel more clearance it snugged my groups down a treat. Well it turns out the pads had sunk into the timber so I made some new ones from hard full kip leather and hey presto normal service has returned. 100 yds rested but shot quickly. Remington 40 gen hp lower right. Remington 33grn V max upper left. U.

    Think I paid £168 for it new. 50 shots from its tiny tube. Not pellet fussy and the tiny mod do work too. U.

    Thanks! I know they can deliver. Hey have you seen the Phox package from Gamo? A Birmingham made PCP (Ultra with Gamo trigger), pump, scope, pellets, targets and gun bag can be yours for under £490! Thought that may appeal! Lol,they look good but no mate, I have a dolly. She is Chinese . U.

    Hi moley. I usually make meatloaf with woodies and squirrel usually goes to ferreters. Sometimes I will cook one. The hatsan 900 simply has a blanking screw where other models with the same trigger have a longer screw to offer all be it limited adjustment. The adjuster simply adjust sear engagement so caution is needed so it does not become unstable. That will only happen if one tries to make it a match grade trigger via this screw alone! Replace the screw with one around 6mm long, IIRC it is m3 standard pitch. Stoning the Sears or smoothing the surfaces make a difference too an

    After work I returned to a place I stalked a fox in the dark a few weeks ago but heavy drizzle ruined it! Soaked rifle, scope and glasses prevented a shot at short range. Last week I missed another fox but connected on another but not ideal! What has that got to do with tonight? Well I made another bad shot tonight! It's ok, soon ended but the vixen ended up in water so it's not a pretty site! Hmmm, I better check zero, this is not normal! Sure enough, low and left and no grouping! This rifle when I got it shot badly. The bedding is very poor. I added some pads and hey

    They are ok for the money! However a simple trigger job is needed and usually some relieving at the breach to aid pushing the pellet in the barrel. Good plinking rifle. U.
