    I had one, apart from being way over priced they certainly are quiet but there is a big but! My single barrel did not shoot where I was looking. It always shot high which was a pain. I sold it on in the end. U.

    ... practice, I said I needed to spend some time with the WMR as I was struggling a bit with it the other day. I visited a place with good rabbits and soon got into some good hunting. Off hand squirrel shots from 15-60yds from the same spot was encouraging. Next up was a rabbit. I was above them as they ran into brambles. It took a while but I finally glasses that little black piece of coal, an eye. Next I found a tiny window to squeeze the bullet through. An off hand shot at 50yds or so.     45/70 would work nicely in a light singlshot loaded around original pressure levels. I wish 357 magnum was legal, it would be perfect.

    It's only a 30/30, taken several roe and red stags with it. My last roe was taken with a 308. Personally I would never choose a 22-250. 222 and 223 yes. The 6.5mm family next and then the 30 Cal's. U.

    Prefer something steadier for roe myself. U.

    The squirrels yes when there is a branch to catch the bullet. I had a lucky shot at a crow on a field, they usually fly as soon as they see me.

    I got out in the cold bracing wind and found two squirrels thinking of setting in a drey for the night. Only one in the picture as Jess had carried one off somewhere Next I got into a crow, I love shooting crows, nasty birds. Had a good lamping session for fox but saw none. U.

    All I know is, the stainless rifles I had and friends made not a jot of difference in the field so if you want some added protection from corrosion go for it. I still recommend an oily pull through for the end of the day and a dry pull through for the beginning of the next day. There still is iron present in stainless steel! U.
