  1. Before inserting any firearm in an anus make sure the gun is completely unloaded!
  2. Thanks. Well now, I have nasty secretions oozing out of every orifice of my body. I think it's swine flu, it can't be bird flu as I can't fly or lay eggs, besides the Mrs regularly calls me a swine anyway.
  3. Thanks. I did have an awful night. Coughing my lungs out and I was worried about pneumonia. I googled it! My temperature is not up too much and I will watch it. Thanks.
  4. This relentless influenza is killing me, lost time at work, sleepless nights and worst of all little energy to go hunting!I managed a short walk for a few hours, just taking my time.Seen a few pheasant and woodcock but never got a chance.I did however find a spot that regular visiting wood pigeons were dropping in after a feed on a nearby rape field.Bessy loaded with 2oz of #7&1/2 of shot soon had a few down. U.
  5. Yeah but no but, then the Mrs will want to come!

  13. Nonsense, your just looking for an excuse, it's really because I am a trend setter

  16. What part of the country is this? Please. I long for the day they get to north staffs and Shropshire.
  17. ...got in the wood late today but what a beautiful day, blues sky, frost and no wind, well the east wind did pick up later. The Brno 22 got six squirrels and a pigeon but when grandad got home no one was in ( hooray). So grandad had a snooze zzzz. By three grandad stored and grabbed the 410. Boy it was a bitter easterly as the sun set. I managed to put the sneak on a hedge row rabbits. This one at seven yards was just in range to just keep all the shot on its head, perfect. These NSI 410 loads are mustard. U. U.
  18. Tidy vixen. Good to see another whome doesn't panic about horse's. How much was the caller mate?
  19. ....the dog is savvy, I followed him barking a good way then lost him. I had to hang around until I heard a vixen and my dog fox answering her. Where they were was not surprising. I was noticing activity recently there and it is traditionally a favourite spot. I got on the vixen but the dog kept a low profile and knows what a lamp is! A sixty yards shot put straight to sleep. Once retrieved and photo taken some time passed, I put her in a handy spot in case I can out of bed tomorrow morning. When I was creeping away I looked back and the swine was checking his dead bird!
