  1. I work in retail - them effniks do like a bargain It may be just a cultural thing - my British customers tend to accept the price and either buy or not. My Asian customers love a good haggle, it's all part of the fun for them. But, when you're doing a job for someone, haggling after the price has been agreed and the work has been done is out of order, whoever they are.
  2. Apparently, there's good numbers of wild boar down this way, in the forest of Dean. A couple of months ago I read that their numbers had increased to the point where they were becoming a nuisance. Maybe you could get involved in that mate Good luck.
  3. I read that it was something to do with liking the taste of adrenaline in the meat, more than a bit sick if you ask me. I do know that adrenaline taints the taste of deer if you spook them before shooting them but the idea of deliberately abusing an animal to make it taste better is not really cricket. I'd happily try the local cuisine when visiting far flung places but, I do think the animals should be given as quick and painless death as possible.
  4. Poor ol' Lionel definitely doesn't like snakes
  5. Good! What that airline did was f***ing disgusting. I hope it causes them some real pain. I'd have been well pissed off if I was in that passengers place. ...... why should we have our holiday delayed for some over-done flight tart when, we've worked our arses off all year for it. At the very least, it should have been first come, first served.
  6. Well done for getting a young 'un into it mate Atb to both of you.
  7. Nice one Eddy Nice kit mate - can't fault those S410s. Atb
  8. I'll take this one dirty Right, I'm off - I got a bollocking over the last huntress thread
  9. Hi Soap, My Impact GSX100 does the same if I shoot it below 50bar - it vents all the remaining air out of the end of the barrel and, it won't allow me to refill it again unless it's cocked. Give it a go mate, there might be nothing wrong with your Rapid Good luck with your sale.
  10. The way those Pro Sport cheek pieces are carved, would it be possible to encourage it over the other way to suit a left handed shooter? I guess it might take a while but, it's got to be better than chopping it
  11. Deadeye's got 4 of them in .22 - he wasn't very impressed with them at first. They were low on power, very harsh recoil, very hold sensitive. He nearly sold them but, after a couple of tins of pellets they settled right down. Now they've all got little recoil, the power has gone up and they all group very tightly
  12. Good on him Si I can see you losing that Cat mate
  13. It's a shame that we don't hand out similar sentences to that sort of scum. I hope he spends the rest of his days picking up Bubbas soap.
  14. I've run out of likes mate but, that's some shit hot shooting I'm certainly in no doubt about what these 100s are capable of. When I was shooting at 58yrds yesterday, I kept seeing the pellet drop straight down the verticle crosshair
  15. A cracking result as always mate And, a nice day to be out. ..........Jimmy left his Crows up the trees
  16. Cheers Mark I'm well happy with it - those vertical stripes are kind of translucent when the sun hits them. ..... I'll have a look at your post now mate
  17. Sorry Phil, I didn't look mate - I dismissed it straight away because I was after the full fat vesion. I've just had a look at his website but, I can't find it on there. Knowing Paul, I reckon he'll have it up for around £430 and, he'll be happy to haggle
  18. That's really good Phil Top marks for that bloke for coming up with such a simple idea - I reckon he's onto a winner It's nice to see peoples preconceived ideas change when they just loosen up a little and give it ago. ...... the best part is, this can be a relatively cheap set up - a cheapish springer, say an HW30 and, a bell target can be knocked up for little money. Good on him - it can only be good for the sport ..... I hope it takes off.
  19. That sounds like a cracking day out ........ eventually What better way to spend a nice sunny day than outdoors, behind a rifle
  20. To be honest mate, I do think I made a mistake letting the last one go. I think these 100s are just good, solid, reliable engineering. I reckon I'll end up sticking with JSB Heavies in this ...... I've been using them for a couple of years, in a few different rifles and, your right - there's no mistaking the sound when they hit Sounds like you and LH had a good trip out yesterday mate
  21. Cheers Rez No mate, I already had that mount in my kit. Good thing really - this RFD is fecking expensive for Sportsmatch mounts.
  22. Cheers Matt I thought about Marks advice when I was in the shop so, I bought some spray oil. I've got other oil but, none that I can spray. So far, you're the only one to click 'like' on the ladybird picture Atb mate
