There are some proper f***ing morons on the roads - they usually come out during the day. I'm usually on the roads before 7am and after 6pm commuting to and from work, these times aren't too bad. I had the misfortune of having to pop out at lunch time today - I kid you not, I reckon a whole bunch of Sunshine coaches must have broken down so, they gave all the passengers a car each Old farts and bellends doing 20 in the 30 limits. Arsehole taxi drivers just pulling out of side roads and going 15mph for the next 300yrds And, my personal favourite, the pric

It's not sad at all mate Dogs give a funny kind of bond. He'll, my two can right little pricks but, I like them more than most people. .......... I can't imagine not having them here.

I'm a good boy - I've never been caught for anything

Very nice I do like looking at pictures like that - I'd love to have that sort of talent. There's a member on here called Piano man (Simon) - his paintings of old aircraft are amazing.
-
They're still around Jonny They're probably just busy at the moment - there'll be something up sooner or later mate.

Ain't that the feckin truth mate - my new boss is a proper prick. But, I've finally hired a new assistant manager and, so far he's looking like he'll be a good lad ? I'm hoping to sort a visit to Si's for when you can also be there ....... I'm long overdue for a decent weekend mate

Sounds like she's happy to get rid of you for a while mate Don't forget the pictures and write ups Jimmy - From the last one, Mr Hopton's got some cracking land and, it always looks like a good night at Si's

Welcome back Grae. I had a 20yr break from shooting for career, money and fanny - not necessarily in that order I'd take those rifles out for a good target shooting session first of all - that should give you a pretty good idea of what they're up to. Regarding getting a springer - no cabinet is complete without one mate Atb

You got out and, you got one Nice job Ben

77s are well regarded with a lot of air rifle shooters, especially the older 77s and, in my short experience of owning one, I can see why Yes, they're not the lightest but, they balance very well.

That is a feckin big scope for an air rifle. I do like the older MTC scopes - in my opinion, they were a lot better than the newer offerings. The older SCB reticle was better as well. See if you can find an original Viper 3-12x44 SCB - It's a cracking scope, I wish I'd never sold mine.

I've never owned a Wildcat but, I do like that bullpup configuration ...... The point of balance will be within your own center of gravity which, for me, makes them very easy to hold on aim - this is where you'll notice the difference over your other rifles. You may find it a little twitchy at first due to the lack of weight up front but, it really doesn't take long to get used to. FX make some good kit - I don't think you'll be disappointed

A few weeks back, Si was down this way with his missus - I think they were spending the night in Cheltenham or something. Anyway, Si popped into my work and surprised me with this Philippines Simmonds Whitetail Classic 3.5-10x50 Due to being busy and short staffed at work, I've only managed to get it on the Mercury Challenger today. It's a cracking scope - I can't wait to get out and get a good session with it. Now, both of my retro springers have nice scopes with a good, simple duplex reticle Cheers Si, Much appreciated mate

I reckon they probably reserve the fines and prison time for the council estate chavs that constantly make no effort to straighten out their kids mate. ........ I can't see a judge handing that out to a regular family that are trying - especially if they can see it'll have a detrimental effect.
-
As said, do make sure that you get proper help. Also put together as much info as you can about the lads struggles, truancy, upheaval of moving school and, about his progress on the work placement - see if they'll give a reference on his attendance and behaviour. Let them know about your daughter so that they can see that you're not a 'Don't give a shit' parent. If you get the chance, let the court know that you know that your boy isn't cut out for mainstream education and, make it clear that his behaviour and the court case has had an effect on your missus.

Phil might be interested in this Jimmy He asked me about it before but, I didn't feel right selling it to him while it had a couple of issues that I struggled to sort. But, now that you and Si have sorted it.........
