I forgot about the grey Ultra ........ Fair dos, that was a good little rifle. It's the wood stocked se that I had a while back that was a bag of shite ........ The mounts and scope were fine, I knew the sweet spot but, the poxy thing just wouldn't hold its zero - I've heard loads of good reports on them but, that one just put me right off them.

Both but, I did mean the 110k ........ I had an Ultra a while back and, I was so disappointed with it - I reckon that 110 could be just the ticket.

I can't find anything online about a shorter 110 - there's nothing on Weihrauchs web site either. I also thought it was already a carbine but, it could be interesting if they made it smaller like an Ultra

Have a look at Chambers and Knibbs for the open sights. For a silencer, you might be better off looking for an adaptor to go on the barrel that has a 1/2" male thread - then you could fit most silencers.

There is a recoiling rifle class in HFT comps - it's usually a lot smaller in number than the .177 PCP mob There's nowt wrong with and HW80 - It's perfectly capable of doing well in competitions My advice: practice with it and, get along to a few comps and have some fun. Also, map out your reticle and work on your range estimation. Good luck ps, don't be put off by all the flash gear and posh stocks that you'll see on the lanes - it doesn't make them shoot any better. ........ There's no substitute for practice
