    Yeah the quality of the mags is random as f... my furthest rabbit sub 12 was with a biz mag but like you said the quality is pap. used jsb heavy for ages and they were sound but I liked the fact that the light weights fly fat and my distance judgment is shite nowadays ?

    I used heavy pellets for years thinking they’d hold the wind best but tried them light ones and the 100 loved them even in the wind they still held there ground, use the express in the little ultra all the time.. good pellet for killing everything

    Productive mooch:) can’t beat that feeling when your shooting well and fill the game bag? the fields down my way are like swamps, saw a field ripe for decoying the other day, 100s of pigeons and crows on it but thought fcuk that as it just looked like a mission picking up and settin up:(

    I text a local keeper last week, I know they like to leave a few for the hunt but I saw 4 in one field next to one of the bigger pens, I wasn’t even looking for them! was out rat bashing the other night and saw one in the yard polishing off the farm dogs tea.. I’d not been to this place in a while so I took me fox pro for a test drive.. didn’t even get it out of my coat pocket as there was one 150yard away strait off the bat.. saw 6 all in all in one massive field, gonna sort out with the farm next door if he’s happy for me to use the 6.5, what I use is effective and I drop a lot at suita

    bought my lad a yildiz 410 non ejector and I think its the best bang for buck ive spent on guns, quality little shotgun at a sensible price! I sling clays for him a couple of times a week and love the fact he just pulls them out and slings them in a box, no fannying about unlike when I use me m2 and raking about in ditches when goose shooting aint tennis:( if I ever buy another sxs or o/u its gonna be a non ejector

    Me and my mate went for a walk with the shotguns last week and had a right mooch trying to lift a few stragglers up, we were checking out runs as edge of the field was grass and there were runs all over... there was some fresh shit and neither of us could work out what it was from.. won’t badger fox or deer? nearly 100years between two bricklayer and we still don’t no shit?

    Got my mate a spotter like yours sd, he’s a lot like you, known him since school and he picks up a big lamp and shotgun over the .223 he has 90% of the time! I don’t know how he dose it, we split up when out and have a different view on things but both get results. Three outings on the bounce the other week?

    Was taking to a lad that reloads for the shop owner other week and he was saying he hipoxyed( spelt wrong prob) the back of the mag and dremeled the rib down on his tikka not sure which cal mag it was for but he said it worked fine.

    Got a few mates who use 6.5 creed but I use 6.5 sweed it’s a nice round and can home load for about 70p a shot. it still an expensive round to buy over the counter over here, fly Norma target ammo is £60 for 20 in my local shop? the reason that they are mellow loads in sweed over your way is because of all the old ww2 surplus rifles floating about and not wanting to get sued

    there seems to be loads about my way at the moment but id been holding off due to wanting a gizmo to draw them away from the roads and other dodgy areas! I do alright just mouth squeaking but its been a pain getting them to a safe shot zone( cattle/horses and houses in the background) went to a place the other night, not been for ages and grass had just been cut in loads of fields.. saw a few there as well, they'll be one less kicking about

    Picked it up today, it’s got 75 built in calls! they don’t say there British but there’s a load of red fox that sound good and rabbit and pheasant that sound similar to the ones that fly and bounce round Yorkshire. there’s magpie and squirrel that sound nothing like them but I remember a keeper mate of mine saying he pulled in loads on a squirrel that sounded nothing like a squirrel. handy size to I’m happy with it, pitty it’s pissin down or I’d be out tonight with it.
