    Ace.. you’ll love it Ben treat yourself to a nice padded sling cos you’ll need it? I did 3 1/2 miles on last outing with mine according to me phone... one benefit of the weight is that it’s mega stable on quad sticks when the winds up? Only problem you’ll have at the moment is finding cover to get rid of the quarry cos with you pard on top anything within 300yard is fecked.

    My mrs showed two alleged soft markers on a scan, we had to drive from Scarborough to Leeds as that’s the best hospital for this kind of thing allegedly! they did there scans and recommended she had an abortion there and then as it was more or less nailed on the child would have a syndrome.... I asked them about a few things and they and they gave me the odds that were ridiculous so we decided we were prepared to stand by the child regardless... she’s also just turned 15 last Friday and is bright as a button and the healthiest kid I’ve ever known!

    they were £59 for 50, I got them thrown in with the gun.. the bloke bought two boxes with it so ive got bout 70 to reload with! should of started a different thread sd, ill do one once I do something meaningful with it ? like you I was out in the cold the other night.. It wasn't much fun so only gave it a couple of hours! I was up on the moors that were like a swamp that was half frozen, only had a fleeting glimpse of one in-between the sheep and it was gone before I knew it could hear them barking in the distance but non were playing so it was an early bath night.

    its a tikka super varmint sd, its a 20" witch ticked the shooting out of the window box.. I know the gun as I was in the shop when it was getting put together, it only had 32 shots through it before I got it ? put the pard 008 on it, I can swap it about easily.. wanted a vermin basher cos I never use nv on the .6.5 as I like using a real scope on that rifle!

    I picked up a .204 few days back ben, been looking for a cheap to reload for vermin basher... had a .223 but never really took to it so it went! zeroed it at 150yrd other day with pard on, was that bright I had to put a bit of a shade up to see target got it in right field within a few shots patched target then made a final tweak after the high shot.. thought that'll do for me!

    I put a camera out the other day as me mate was saying there’s a fox about! so I left him a partridge and a couple of pigeons.. came back next day and the partridge was gone and the pigeons were half bearied.. thought I was game on till is saw the culprit, the biggest rat I’ve seen.. it’s wrestling with partridge here ?

    Shot this a couple of weeks back, it’s only one I can kind of scale off... just take photos on deck normally! it was a fair old lump and had some weight about it.

    ive pulled all the rubber eye caps off every nightvision I use so its not a problem getting eye relief, my mates do the same to! the eye caps folded over on this so I can shoot wrong handed out the car window, I can get on shots without even being lined up with the scope as parallax is non existent with this one

    Not to sure on screens, wasn’t aware there were different ones! I know there are two different lenses one suits air guns better

    There a doddle to use sd and I never had a problem with eye relief either, my scope was set for the day and never altered it! the only reason I went for the 008 was to reduce overall weight on gun and it has a range finder that’s good for air guns

    There simple to put on and remove.. once you’ve got the mount fitted to the eye bell you just push it on and twist and push a button to remove! they work best with a cheap scope as expensive ones cancel out the ir x3 is the best picture/full screen then zoom out for the shot at range, side focus is best as front you’ve got your hand in way of ir beam

    Co2 guns have fluctuation in power with temperature Ben, fixed loads with leaking seals mainly because there a bit of a budget gun... but for 15/20yrd rats there fine, don’t expect them to put pellet on pellet at 40yrd though!
