It’s not on at all sd, I’m pretty sure you’ve come across your fair share of up and coming young nuggets in the engineering trade, I know the building trades full of them and I wouldn’t have a new house given:( when it’s your job to inspect said rifles faults like that should scream out when you know what you should be lookin for.. I’m a dopey bricklayer and can crown barrels tru in me kitchen?

It’s a 4.5mm bit you need for drilling the sling studs? the twang is purely because the ends of the springs need re profiling they get distorted cos they cut them with a grinder, easy fix if you’ve got a dremil and the diesiling should calm down the more you put through it

It shouldn’t need any oil but if it looks dry a few drops won’t do any harm.. make sure you give the barrel a good clean before you use it?

been really busy with work and the kids lately so haven't had much time to get out, only snatching a few hours here and there on the rats with the airgun as its a five min drive and ultimately lazy as I shoot them out of the window! when I turned up to the pig farm a couple of weeks ago I noticed a fox on arrival eating the yard dogs food so next time I went up I took the foxpro with me, on inspection of the field its 800m long there were five working it ?... the rat masher runs at 60ftlb throwing .25 34gn lumps of lead 900fps, the caller stayed in my pocket as if id walked in
