    well with all the things going on at the moment im taking a back seat with work and only seeing the kids.. if there is a bat bug im not gonna be responsible for spreading it as a lot of my customers are old! so last night the weather was awful and I was board stiff sat at home so I phoned the old sheep farmer up and said I was going to come up and have a walk round, his reply was ok but its sh!t weather up here.. id looked at the forecast and the rain was due to stop and duly did about five mins after I arrived.. so aft a quick brew and smoke I set the rifle up and grabbed me

    got them on the cliffs here nige.. couple of hours drive and you can fill ya boots!! literally fill ya boot and feel free to take as many seagulls as you like they live on bempton cliffs we use to fish off there at night, was dodgy with a 300ft drop.. wouldn't fish it during the day cos the b@stard things attack you. im with Dave on the kebabs and kfc ?

    Don’t know what it’s like up your was stav but I’m sat next to fire with the wind howling down the stack...     I’ve got a mate like that that I’ve known since nursery school, I’ve always just allowed him a bit of Lea way but when he started not turning up when it involved the kids I went fcukin mad and haven’t specifically arranged anything solely with him since:( nice lad.. feckin useless time keeper

    It’s not hard to get numbers like that up here Ben, a mate of mine will do 3/400 a week on his tod if he gets big enough orders.. mainly pet food! no need for full on firearms we just use fac airguns no cartridges all over and less meat damage?

    Days of my layin down in wet grass have long gone? got a text off me mate last night asking if I wanted to go goosing, so I passed the phone to my lad and his eyes lit up and he text back yes and he’s coming as well! the flight is on the chicken farm land, no reports of fox’s but I like to have a butchers and my mate scared off 3 lads with dogs last week... so 6.15 this morning we’re ready for action... no poachers and one fox spotted at far side of a big field, didn’t come to the squeak but didn’t leg it either just mooched away having a couple of looks back.. picked up so

    I’d go for the rangefinder model that’s what I use, had it since they came out! perfect for air rifles as it combats guess work and is spot on with the distances.. checked against my pocket rf

    I’ve got one, really like it for around the farms but your gonna have to live with the bolt tension.. you can make it smoother but it’s still gonna take the same cocking effort

    With you 100% on that Gav... sliced up a graylag other day for me and the lad, had a stew with one other week which wasn’t to bad but tried frying strips for fajitas... it was sh1te told lad to stop eating it just in case he choked to death it was that tough??     Same scenario only ever use the lamp for fox.. saw 3 dropped one, hit with a right thump but couldn’t find it? looked for ages.. off back up for a good walk about soon, the lands a nightmare, permanently wet and rough!!
