I was out last week, 15 foxes I counted just laid in the fields that could be seen from the road, and like you say, the wrong sort could see these. always comes back to pricks with guns. Iv said it on here before how much I hate them. Gun club land this n that. No it's the landowners land. Gun club members only have permission to shoot it same way others have permission to hunt it. Shower of fcking wankers.Sounds like you got your marching orders.

I do follow world affairs to a degree, I don't think war is on the cards, a lot of posturing and idol threats is all, I actually believe all the great powers are in bed with each other and feed the common folk with enough to keep us confused and guessing. Jmo.

Anyone still getting the odd call out, I got one this evening, six lambs gone in a week, surly more than one fox? I'll go Saturday morning and weigh up the situation, don't know farmer or land, might be a job for snare or rifle maybe, not too fussed on digging, nearly may ffs.

Foxdropper, I think you posted before that you don't or never used a bar(apologies if I'm wrong), but to me this is one of the times it becomes useful, I had a dog in a very tight place this season who just could not get to its quarry but instead of trenching on or digging random holes to try a relocate, I was able to probe along with the bar and accurately follow the tube, granted if the den had of been anymore than 4ft deep I wound not, but thankfully it wasn't. -

The department are snaring them in my area but still their numbers soar, also there are a lot of farmers who are happy to leave them be, their thinking behind this is that if you remove a badger that is not a problem or carrying tb then you are freeing up territory for a potential tb carrier to move in. You need to be on your permissions regular to monitor their activities to save any hassle for free running terriers. -
Only know of one bedlington in my area, owner sings its praises all the time but I know better. Yes Neil, am sorted for when bitch comes in season after a very kind offer. Should also add a big thank you to all who pm'd me.

There's hyard and as you know there's stupid hard which are of little use in any mans yard,no point in fedding a dog for 12 months to only get a couple of digs through the season if your lucky.I have terriers here that can be dug to most wks even though they are mute or as near to mute as you will get,might sound a little while geting to there game but then it stops,but they dont try to kill whats in front of them,happy to take hold and lay there with it.My older bitch is different,she tries her best to go through quarry and is never happy with the back end of the quarry.I remember diging to y

There used to be a forum Liam about 12 or 13 years ago called "The BullTerrier Times." You'd have loved it, loads of history on the old Irish Staffords etc. It was ran by a lad from London,(I think) called Mario and one day he asked did anyone use their Staffs on the lamp for foxes ? Me and my big mouth replied to not ask such stupid questions because if a Staff could catch a fox then foxes would be extinct. A stupid question. A couple of days later I was exercising about 5 terriers with that pit bull ,Pepper (she was around 30 lbs) when the terriers mobbed a fox in a ditch but didn't hold
