If it is a wood stock. I saw an amazing plastic stock a couple of weeks ago which had superb grain and needed to be looked at close up to see it was not wood, could these be the same. This could be a very interesting prospect if Phil Crampton does have them as his own imports. Phil Just looked at Phil's facebook page and it does appear that he is bringing them into the UK.

I have a rimmy Jim but you aint got rid of me yet because I prefer air rifles, the rimmy is to do a job, thats it. Phil

Sorry but I am pleased if they are back and running. Giles is amusing, Matt Dubber and Ted Bear produce interesting and informative footage and long may it continue. Phil

Pleased for you Mitch. My shooting partner got his FAC a few weeks ago and has taken my Rapid .22 fac and we picked up a Browning rimfire for him. I have tried a few FAC air rifles but not found anything which compares to the FX Impact in terms of handling, balance, oh fcuk it, I love it and it ticks my boxes. Phil

You should have no problems with the license. I have gone through some testing guns / carts with my wife as she has started being recoil shy. She doesn't like auto shotguns and as she only shoots clays, an o/u is a better bet on many counts but the biggest improvement was to test 24grm cartridges. The 24grm will perform extremely well and although not my chosen shell, I have used 24's for pigeon decoying with no problems whatsoever. I would respectfully suggest just trying some 24's in a friends gun or at a clay shoot to see how you go on. Cheddite produce some superb 21 and 24

Come on Mike, you cannot leave it like that...............................the crown is not fully released as yet and as far as I am aware, they were not even available to buy so how can you be selling a rifle so new. You must have a reason and it would be interesting to know if you don't mind. I am a huge fan of FX but I think this one whilst being lovely looking will be a bit long for me. I have just noticed you are in France so I am guessing the Crown has been released over there before here in the UK. Phil

S200 power increase ?
philpot replied to Blackbriar's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I was going to take my T200 from 6fpe to sub 12 by adjusting the screw / nut on the side of the action but in all honesty it would only move a very small amount. The rfd advised that it needed some parts which is over my head so I just decided that I will sell it instead. Must get round to doing that. Mine is the split stock version and the screw can be seen in the first photo. Superb little gun. I do not know if an adjustment screw is on the later versions with a one piece stock. Phil -
And another two their way by the looks of it. It has also been said that Matt Dubber has gone but not sure about that. Phil

Just noticed, they have removed the channel already. Twats Phil

I was speaking to a couple of lads whilst in Suffolk last week who both had R10 rifles and both had the Ratworks refit. Both men said they were now fantastic rifles, I think they said the reg had also been switched to a Tench unit. I must admit they come up in the shoulder so nice, keep looking at a sub 12 version, will I won't I.....................?? Mind you, my fuel pump has now decided to start playing up so that even at trade is two hundred notes, gun on back burner AGAIN. Phil

Right boys, my pal has just bought a s/h HW100 s which went to Hull Cartridge for a service just prior to my pal buying the gun. It shoots fine BUT has dumped all it's air over the last week whilst in the cabinet. Now I assume there is a seal which is damaged but as I have never had this issue when I had my HW100, I am lost as to what to do. Soooooo where is the seal that normally causes this problem, I am guessing that he will need to remove the cylinder and I suppose the seal is either on the cylinder or where the cylinder fits the gun. Can someone help this useless ole tart

Is she making a visit to Leicester to have a little holiday with uncle Phil C to make it even BETTER. Phil -
My shooting partner and myself picked up two new perms on Thursday and both were gained because we were able to do a bit of name dropping regarding perms we shoot on already. Farmers know farmers, the hard bit is getting the first perm but once you do get one, drop his name in passing with other farmers. The things I have found has the best impact with farmers is ' I shoot rats, crows and feral pigeons ' because everyone wants rabbits and wood pigeon so go for vermin that really are pests. Next week and the week after we have been asked to go and talk to a couple more farmers

The Barracuda Hunter Extreme does give a good result but for me gave no advantage. Of course many of the pellets tested give different results at 47fpe so I will be interested to see what final results are at longer range with sub 12. Phil

Just need to stretch the range out but looks like the AA Fields might do the business. I somehow don't think the Grizzly will be your chosen pellet though Phill. Phil

Should I upgrade to an hw100
philpot replied to Will333's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Now that is a tricky question. I had the Carbine because I just found the full length version way to front end heavy but that is just me. The 'K' has a smaller shot count unless you spend another £150 for an A&M cylinder whereas the 'S' version will throw out about 100 shots per fill with the standard cylinder. It is down to what you like...................................there is always the HW110 which is full length but feels like a carbine but only 10 shot mags instead of 14 on the HW100. I must confess a real liking for the 110 and is on my hit list at the moment -

same as I use on mine. Phil -
I have been told that wheat works well so mixing it with some peanuts reduces the cost. I will be interested to hear how well the guinea pig food works, I can get some very large sacks of that for not a lot of money. If they don't like it, they will flick it all over the ground........................rat bait, double the quarry species. Phil

I will be interested to see how you go on in a sub 12 .25. Phil

From John, top dollar then as he doesn't do discount but a very nice guy, used to shoot clays with him. Phil
